  1. No idea, I did it the other way, a 2JZ lump into a Soarer. I changed the sensors on the lump to 1JZ ones and just plugged it in.
  2. As you are getting the whole car just move the entire engine loom over and the ecu. As far as I know the Supra box can hold more power but what are your plans? If you are just going down the stock or BPU route then the Soarer box will be fine will a oil cooler. If you want single and mega power than the Soarer can do it but will need a bit of work. The Supra one will manage it. BUT the Soarer ecu will not work the Supra box and vica versa.
  3. Thats cos he said the #1 soarer site..... Sorry mate, just had to say it...lol.
  4. Personally I use a member on here called Oilman, he does good discounts for club members and usually has group buys and other stuff. You can also ring him and tell him the spec of your car and he will advise you on the best oil (within any budget range) for your car.
  5. Use the links it came with, the OEM ones can get binned. From memory mine was done by fitting the links first then slowly lifting the bar up into uts position and doing it up. I may be confusing it with the rear one as I did them both at the same time and it was some time ago.
  6. Very interesting thread!!!! Thanks guys!
  7. Normally you cant as it is proprietary to HKS and the tuners who are allowed to use it pay an awful lot for it and usually sign a document to say that they will not pass it on as it isn't their property, only loaned to them.
  8. AjazYazin was running one attached to his 1.5JZ lump. IIRC he had around the 700hp mark out of it. Hopefully he will see this and come on. He said he had uprated the washer and had some other work done, bits cryo treated. I ended up buying it and the engine and it is in the process of getting fitted as we type.
  9. Looking at the photos it has a single on it.
  10. Or just buy my 1JZ engine for less than half of the price of that car....
  11. So it stays all lined up after you remove it prior to welding if you don't have a kit to tac the pieces in place...prior to fully welding.
  12. I have done a bit of both...as per the post above. I bought an off the shelf cheapo down pipe. Cut the new angle, placed in the new bits, drew lines and taped. Now waiting for it to be welded. The quoted price for a bespoke one was £300!
  13. That is not a waste gate. It is a BOV. The top nipple isn't a nipple, it is the bolt that holds the front on. The lower nipple is actually the nipple that is for the actuator to open the bov.
  14. It says the price inclueds fitting and set up. Let them do it!
  15. Here is a question for you all.... The Soarer runs a separate ecu for the fuel pump (it can also be the cause or starting and running problems) so that on low demand it runs on 9v and the pump goes slow, on high demand it goes to 12v and the pump runs faster. Does the Supra have anything like this? And next question is, I have gone from one walbro pump to two, do I by pass the pump ecu an do a direct feed from the battery via a relay and the ignition switch? I am using an Apexi Power FC ecu, will this have a feature to run the pump at multi speeds? Any suggestions?
  16. Really?? I have one for sale.... Just PMed you. Sorry for the hi-jack!
  17. Cheers! I thought that may be the case but the difference between 'thinking' and 'knowing' is huge.
  18. Does anyone know if the BWS360 comes with an undivided entry? Or are they only divided entry??
  19. So it isnt possible to mount a divided turbo onto a non divided manifold? Or is it possible but not a good idea? Just looking at ordering the manifold and turbo so want to make sure i dont f*** it up! (Which I am very likely going to do!)
  20. Pertec hoses are just as good and half the price. The twin lines I am using fit in the runner that the OEM lines use under the car.
