Hi Jamie - looks pretty mint to me. The problem when I went to KTC was all the imports looked to have bodged paint work, missing stereos, electrical wires hanging out of the dash etc. The Vette looks like new. Not sure what warranty etc and if it will worth anything, but looks like a nice car and good price IMHO

Mark, Only Turbo 1 has a Wastegate actuator. This controls the total exhaust gas going through BOTH turbos. The Actuators linked to T2 are for the sequential spooling/pre-spooling system. there are things you can do to get spooling of T2 earlier, but this does not affect the overall max boost. Only the actuator at the front of the engine bay will do this. I'm 99.99% certain the Boost Controller should only be plumbed into the vacuum line between T1 and the wastegate actuator and has nothing to do with T2.

It may be because this is Supra Chat, and this is a technical question. Some people only peruse particular parts of the forum, so the techies may not have seen your post here. Hope you get it sorted. The instructions looked really confusing and unnecessary. J

I was meaning the second set of pics. The ECU is on the right and unless the E hasn't come out in the pic, only says 2JZ-GT. The Throttle Control says 2JZ-GTE. Just a bit confused that one says GTE and the other GT

Mark, Probably wrong, but noticed your ECU sticker says 2JZ-GT. I would have thought it would say 2JZ-GTE as yours is a Turbo?

Yeah, from what I've read, the gains are made on the days off. make sure you eat plenty of protein rich foods (eg chicken, salmon, prawns) to feed the muscles as they repair themselves, especially straight after your workout

Turbo 2 doesn't have a wastegate, only Turbo 1 (nearest front of engine bay). the Wastegate you are referring to for T2 is the exhaust bypass valve or something. I believe you only intercept the pipe from T1 to the actuator and blank off the return pipe from the actuator to the VSV (do the same on VSV) Tapping into the pipe (A) you've marked with a 'T' looks wrong, but may be corrected...

What's the Bleep test? Also, I've not seen the PEB test in the Gym. I'll have a look tonight. I walked into Bath today and then up to the University and then back home. Looked it up and was surprised to see it was 10km in total - bonus

At the start of August I joined the Fitness First gym in Bath to lose a few excess pounds and get fitter, with the aim to run the Bath half marathon next year. To start with, a 2km run was a struggle, which I raised to 5km and last night I was really pleased to run 10km in 58:30. Just need to double that now for a decent half marathon time I've also lost nearly a stone and 3 inches off my waist, which is a bugger, cos all my 32" trousers are now way too big!! J

I think the UK spec have a MAF sensor and so you may have problems fitting one which sounds like a bus (ie dump to atmos). Recirc ones are OK, IIRC

The biggest cause of disctraction to the motorist is continually trying to look for speed limit signs, speed cameras and looking down at your speedo to check you're not being naughty. It's no more distracting than the radio, kids in the back, passengers talking to you etc. I thought this was absolutely disgusting when I heard it. Talk about running people's lives!! And I believe the government get way more revenue from tax on tobacco than they pay out on the NHS for smoking related diseases, so if smoking was totally banned everyone would have to pay more income tax to make up the deficit.
