  1. Sorry Tigger - can't attend then as I'm off doing a skid control course at Rockingham Raceway just in time for the bad weather. Hopefully learn a bit of drifting too Hope you all have fun
  2. yeah, I like the Brabas Roadster too. There's a few in Bath near where I live and I think exactly what you've said about B-road fun
  3. You could go to decent Rolling Road and get the car tested and get the AFR readout just to check everything's A:OK
  4. Yep another really good turn out. I just hope Tigger can find another sporting event to clash with
  5. For a ride in his Single Turbo mean machine - it's certainly a very SMART car
  6. Yeah - after 0-36 in the first game too!!
  7. From what I've read on here, JohnA's post sums up the cost issue. You can now buy a TT for maybe £1k more than an NA, insurance is less (cos NA's were never a UK car), MPG is about the same (unless hooning it ), servicing the same, tyres etc the same, depreciation is terrible for both (at the moment). Unless you have access to a late 6 speed NA and a TT lump, the bext thing is to buy a TT - if you want the power. If you aren't bothered (and lots aren't) then the NA is still a quick car, just not as quick as some of the new hot hatches.
  8. Jazz, Nice and bling door sills mate: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showpost.php?p=1406219&postcount=1 Unfortunately Mark has sold all the ones he did.
  9. Yep, but it's a pain trying to avoid hearing people cheer if we score etc (or young Toby trying to tell me the result every 5 mins)
  10. B*ll*cks - just realised its ANOTHER England qualifier tomorrow. Tigger how do you do it????
  11. OK, who's going from Bristol and wants to convoy???
  12. Anyone got a set surplus to requirements? cheers J
  13. IMO, Alonso should be chucked out of racing and banned for life for his role in the spying thing. Hamilton & Ron Dennis are the innocent ones, as far as I can see
  14. My first turbo comes on at about 1800 and reaches its max boost (0.7Bar) by 2500 (I think). Prespool happens about 3600 and at 3800 both are working at full speed (1Bar). (definately by 4000) Yours seem VERY late IMO
  15. Well we're meeting at 2pm at Chippenham, I assume for food, so if we go from CRIBBS, we can go M4 to Bath junction (18), then A420 to Chippenham, as it will be more fun than motorway:D (unless we get stuck behind a bastard tractor...) I reckon meeting at 1pm (bound to have a few people late) at CRIBBS should be OK. Any thoughts?
  16. Not quite mate. T61 (I think) Single Turbo!!
  17. I've got green footwell lights
  18. Posted new thread for Bristol Convoy, if anyone's interested http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?p=1629112#post1629112 J
  19. Anyone fancy meeting up in Bristol (CRIBBS etc) and drive up to the Chippenham meet? I'll probably be in Filton Saturday, so we could drive over in a group J
  20. Good. That looks better. The BC should be fitted between T1 and the actuator and then the pipe from the bottom of the actuator to the VSV cut in half (or replaced) and each half blocked up with a bolt etc
  21. Just looked at this again, and this diagram is exactly how it should be done.
  22. I'd remove the BC all together mate and see what you get. The plumbing looks wierd to me. Put all hoses back to standard and start from there. I also think the BC is plumbed in wrongly, as I think it should 'T' off from the vacuum line between Turbo 1 and the wastegate actuator, not off the top of the manifold. Can you explain which hose is blocked, as I can't see from the picture?
  23. TBH, I thought that there may be a post giving the qualifying result away, so purposely logged on after watching the rerun on ITV
  24. Just like to say thanks to Interpro for MOT and service yesterday. Work was done very efficiently while I waited, nice and friendly staff, good advice and in all a pleasant morning Cheers guys J
