  1. Just looked at my post count and bugger me 999, so thought I'd post this as the 1000th J
  2. What a bitch of a time for that to happen !!
  3. Hi mate. Already had plans to meet up with some friends tonight. Not sure when done, but if you PM me your mobile no, I may be able to join you if you come over to Bath cheers J
  4. The manuals were quoted at around 16% and autos are supposed to be worse, so 20% may be reasonable. Therefore divide your figs by 4 and mult by 5, should be in the right ball-park. If you think this is too much, then divide by 5 and mult by 6 for 16.7% loss
  5. Thanks for organising a great day Homer Generally pleased with my results, but could do with more boost lower down to get the Torque curve up a bit earlier in the rev range. I guess that's the advantage of a Boost Ccntroller over a restrictor ring. Nice pics graham, pity I forgot to put my centre caps on after having new tyres fitted yesterday evening!! J
  6. Cool - I'll see you there mate.
  7. Darryl, I thought the first group were starting at 10, not 9. Bit worried about getting there for 9, as I've got a 2 hour drive J
  8. I looked at that and thought "would anyone read that as though I was buying??" Obviously I was wrong to think not
  9. Hopefully getting new rear tyres fitted tomorrow afternoon. Been too busy with work and tyre place I use needed to get them ordered. What are people doing for lunch??
  10. Andy - Can I park up next to the club in the Integrale? Don't really want to be in the random free-for-all with the general public Can't believe I've got a flat tyre J
  11. OK I'm going, but unfortunatley got a flat tyre on the Supra and no time to get replaced today. Going in the Integrale, so won't be arranging a SW convoy (not that many of you miserable buggers seemed interested anyway ) If anyone goes I'll see you there j
  12. When's this happening? Not missing a meet which may be partly in Bath
  13. Probably more autos around as they were a GT car not a sports car. Most cars built for motorway style cruising are Auto, although new gearboxes are 6 or 7 speed, not 4
  14. If you add up cost of servicing, repairs, tyres, modifications, insurance, tax etc, mine costs about £3000 per year + fuel, which is about £200 a month, so about £500 per month in total. I do about 200 miles a week servicing: £600 tyres: £400 other bills: £500 (water pump, AC, wheel bearing etc) mods: £1000 (BPU, wheels, FMIC etc) insurance: £500 (age 34) tax: £200 fuel: 12x 200 total = £6k per year (not including depreciation)
  15. Hi Tigger, I may be able to make this, depending on work etc, Only 20 mins from me too J
  16. Ah right, so between 3500 and 4000 ish, the TTC has a bit more torque whilst the seq changes over. Still prefer the low down driveability of the seq, as much of my driving is between 2-3000 cheers
  17. eh? Maybe I'm reading things wrong, but from looking at the graph Homer put up the GT35 has more torque that the stock sequential system fom 3000 on and between 3 and 4000 I think this would be considerably more than running in TTC - or am I missing something?
  18. Really strange this... Driving up the dual carriageway yesterday and my rear wiper came on for no reason. I looked at the steering wheel stalk and it was in the off position Moving to other positions makes it go faster, but moving it to off it only slows down. It also seems to be moving at an inconsistant rate, i.e. its not actually on the first speed setting. I turned the car off and restarted and it was off, but if I turn it on, then it won't turn back off. I'm going to check fuses, but thinking a relay may have gone, or possibly the motor. Any ideas?? I've had to remove it as it's driving me mad
  19. Hi Mate, You need to get it repaired - too few green ones about LOL, If I hadn't had the agreed value with Sky, I think mine would have been written off. the garage quote was £3K IIRC, so if your damage is around this figure to fix, expect them to initially write it off. Get a 3rd party assessor to look at it. They sent a guy to look at mine and he said no way should it be written off for a bang in the rear & a dent in the rear quarter panel J
  20. Anyone planning to go to this?? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=118219 I've been the last few years and it's a great evening out. If the weather's dry it's a good blast down there too :D Anyone up for a SW convoy?? J
  21. up by the race course. Firstly at 7:30 this morning and then at 4pm. I guess you work in Bath. My mate also said he saw a red Supra in Weston yesterday, so may be you?? J
  22. I'll be there Andy. Will see if any of the SW lot want to come too
  23. Bloody hell. Did they 'tweak' the boost while it was in and blow it up? Always fancied a 200sx - which model is it?
