  1. Don't think I've seen that one around. Where's Burlington St?
  2. Ooops. Still need to find somewhere to practice drifting car control myself
  3. The NGKs which are good for 1.2 Bar are only about £2 each
  4. No problem Sheena, glad its back at it's noisy best. Sorry to think I got you in trouble with the law though
  5. Jim - What happened about Claire getting pulled for drifting?
  6. I had a ride in one back in 2000 when it was brand new and couldn't believe the acceleration. Not sure my Supra even feels as quick. Absolutely glued to the road too.
  7. I had knocking and it turned out to be the top 2 rings on the springs knocking as I drove over bumps, as they weren't a very good match to the dampers
  8. Have you got a pic of steering wheel please Rob, or more info so I can search on Net. cheers
  9. Glad to hear you got this sorted
  10. Just put new plugs in as per Alex's plugs FAQ: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=41927 should be fine ten. I had the same a while ago NGK BKR7E's fixed it
  11. Why did they decide to go for that then? Was it too expensive to design it as non-interference?
  12. Probably the Exhaust valve actuator thingy. Maybe the small bore pipe has split so the exhaust isn't opening to allow air to flow through T2. If so, it will be the pipes which feed the item marked "3" in the link to Ian's sequential turbo FAQ
  13. What, get to look at 2 types of fancy Japanese machinery for the price of one... Could be an idea get to know the ins and outs of Skyline ownership (I WILL have an R34 GTR at some point!!)
  14. One of my (original) J-spec lenses was like this today - never ever happened before, so maybe it's the weather or something. Gonna see how it goes and maybe remove bulb to see if it clears it
  15. Had a difficult day today at the funeral of one of my best friends, who was tragically killed in a car crash 2 weeks ago, but am going to be joining Gerry & Soo for a convoy down to get on with the fun stuff in life which makes everything worth while. Looking forward to a good day tomorrow J
  16. When I opened the tread, from the first piucture I thought someone had literally taken a hammer and chainsaw to a Supra - How right I was!!!

    Just imagine...

    Hidden beach web cams
  18. Seems far too cheap. Lovely wheels mate
  19. No probs. Wish I'd been on the forum, rather than the work laptop!!
  20. Darryl, if this falls through, give me a shout mate cheers J
  21. From reading Chris's post (and he's forgotten more about suspension than most other people will ever hope to know), I'd say not. The dampers will be aging and past their best and combining them with harder springs will not provide an 'optimised' set-up.

    c'mon england

To be honest, my Brother moved from Scotland (Glasgow) where he'd lived for 6 years because he got so sick of the anti- English 'banter' from friends and work colleagues and what he described as hatred towards the English at any sporting event. Got to say that it does pi$$ me off in pubs when Scots, Irish & Welsh cheer for the opposition. I naturally side with the home countries, but am now forcing myself to root for the other side
  23. Auto is perfect 95% of the time. Only now & then I think a manual would be better fun omn the twisties. The Auto is still very good on tracks apparently

    Import

It soes make sense, as the Supra was Twin Turbo as standard, so to convert to a Single takes a lot of labour & parts. Standard TT power is approx 300-320 bhp. Singles make 500+ bhp, hence costing a lot more
