  1. I'm going to POD now too (wasn't sure of plans until today). I've just moved to Bath and was aiming to meet up at Cheively (Jn 13 M4). What's easriest for me to meet up with you guys so we can cruise down the M4 - ideally so that I don't end up driving the wrong way for half an hour first?(time I could be in bed!!) J
  2. Hi Rosie - you got a sale lined up? Thought you may keep her now she's finally sorted.
  3. Any more news on this Darryl - I need to get mine RR'd to see if/where my boost leak is coming from!!
  4. Hi, I've previously posted that I've got a big wooshing sound from under the bonnet at WOT and that it may be my stock BOV. I've got 2 BOVs, and I get the same sound with each of them fitted. Last night I applied 1Bar pressure to the small pipe and 1.5Bar to the inlet pipe to the BOV and it held fine, no leakage. Is this how the BOV would see pressure in real world driving? If so, I've eliminated that from leaking. Now I need to find what else could be causing it. Could it be the pipes on the EGBV at the back of the engine bay? I'm finding it difficult to understand what pipes are pressurised when in the stock seq system. cheers
  5. Certainly had Veilside rear wing, possibly full veilside kit. First time I was in a white van as I was moving house over the weekend, second time I was in the Supra. I flashed and you waved. Blond girl/woman driving. cheers J
  6. Bit of a highjack, but also a This may also be my problem, as I get a wooshing type noise, but only above 4000, when T2 is online. Unfortunately Ric I'm not sure what part you are referring to. Any pics?? cheers
  7. Anyone? I've done the TTC mod by changing the VSV hoses and I got a big spike, then when the boost settled it slowly dropped off, again with a wooshing sound. I left it for 4 hours and when I removed one of the vacuum hoses there was a large psssst, indicating the pressure tank and sequential system hoses should be leak free. Are there any other air hoses coming off the manifold I should check? I've tested the feed to the boost gauge (held nicely) and tried the other stock BOV, which I've fitted using jubilee clips rather than the stock Toyoya clips, which seemed a bit loose. Some suggestions please... J
  8. OK, Today I drove the car and have a rather loud wooshing noise when Turbo 2 comes on line. The boost gauge visibly drops by up to 0.2Bar if I keep my foot flat to the floor. I've checked the top IC hoses on my FMIC and refitted/tightened (all seem OK), Not looked at the lower ones yet as I did not have time to jack car up and remove undertray etc. I've just tested my BOV (actually have 2) and I can easily blow through it with a foot pump at 0.2Bar (the other, now on the car, is the same) Are both these BOVs knackered, or do I have a major leak somewhere? cheers
  9. cheers guys. Will see what I can do do next week as I'm moving this weekend, so a bit hectic!!

  12. I can't believe that the car's been parked AT WORK in a security patrolled locked car park for 2 days and some w**nker has nicked one of the centre caps and gold nuts from my bloody wheels!! Probably one of the Security guards !! Have been parking there for years and no trouble. Anyone know where to get replacement Volk Racing (Rays eng) ventre caps and nuts from? J
  13. Some theiving git has nicked ONE of my silver centre caps and gold nuts from my Volk Racing wheels. Anyone got any to sell - assuming they're standard sizes ? (76mm diameter on centre nut) Cheers J
  14. Nice one Simon. That's 2 singles I'm hassling for a ride in now :D
  15. Any more news on this? Am definately interested. My track experience is: Castle Combe driver day (Ford Focus & Formula Ford) Lancia Integrale track day @ Goodwood (approx 30 laps) Lancia Integrale track action @ Castle Combe (approx 5 laps) Supra Pod Hope you get enough people wanting to do this. I think I can do any weekend in July or August at the moment (and possibly days too as I've got holiday to take) J
  16. cheers Simon. Got a short bit of video too. Wound windows down, but didn't really get a good listen to the exhaust as there was too much traffic around. J
  17. Saw it coming up in my rear view mirrow and said "shit that's a Veyron". Let him go past me and then turned the wick up and managed to get this picture of it as I went past (well I had to ) BTW - I was driving a 1.8 Vectra hire car. He was just cruising around, although at one point he did boot it and f**k me did it just disappear!!
  18. Homer's just pointed out that my Green Supe is pictured on page 2
  19. Guess they won't be going for £20 then James:D
  20. LHD's easy mate. First few times you tend to wander across the road as you associate driving with YOUR position on the road (ie on the RHS of the lane) rather than the cars position (in the centre), but after a week it's natural. Only bugger is overtaking, when you need throw yourself over onto the passenger's side to see if it's clear.
  21. I had a CTR in front of me on some twisties yesterday. Was wondering why he wasn' giving it some beans as it was nice and dry, then realised that he actually was as he cut across the road a few times trying to hit apexes. I just sat on his tail, nice and easy while he made it look oh so difficult. Then when we got to a straight he charged off (again with me in tow). I couldn't be arsed in the end and cruised the rest of the way into town
  22. Definately Interested Darryl Will check dates tomorrow J
  23. Phew... Wallet breathes a large sigh of relief!!
