  1. I'm still amazed at the speed of them though.
  2. Shame, always wanted chopper lessons.
  3. Says £179.93 now? What did I miss?
  4. What was the date of the first flash to? Isn't it soon?
  5. Yeah the other life seems to be from the viewpoint that the island was destroyed 30 years ago (or whenever it was) so all the different stuff in the world now is what would have happened had the island not been there! Sort of a butterfly effect thing I guess.
  6. Close! I'd have to remove those eyelids and leather up the seats though.
  7. I've missed the last 2 episodes, 7 and 8 I think, last night and last week. Last night's will be repeated (Tuesday?) but how can I get last weeks ep?
  8. We seem to be doing the same thing as the FIA; making up new rules that might make it more exciting, but it just makes it confusing! Surely F1 should be the best, that means the best of everything - tyres, engines, aero, brakes....... That's why I think they need much more relaxed rules so the teams can design what they want and they will be a lot more different to each other. If the issue is money as you said (3 or 4 teams will wipe the floor with the rest), then put budget limits on them and let the teams decide whether they want to spend it more on tyres or engine development etc.
  9. I wouldn't spend that much money on it, but it is definitely worth going at least once, even if just to qualifying, just to hear the noise they make!
  10. Don't fancy the yellow! I still think I want a stock silver/grey VVTi tip with stock wheels and body.
  11. It's not the same as hitting it, it was turned out so it would have been a gentle knock on the front (relative to hitting something at that speed), and the weight would have been very little in comparison to the truck. They would notice something was wrong but it wouldn't be immediate.
  12. Blue Clio? You don't live near Arclid do you?

  15. It probably is a viral of some kind, it's very well done if it is!
  16. Heheh: Is it just me or is this paragraph from their front page purposefully jam packed with innuendo? “We have just taken delivery of a new 8 wheel rigid which has a short wheel base and rear steer lift up axle. This combination enables us to service customers with restricted access. Equipped with the latest blowing equipment, you can rely on a quiet and speedy discharge.” There's loads on the net about it, but no evidence to suggest whether it's real or not. Everyone seems to have emailed the company but haven't heard of any replies yet. Anyway, if it's real you'd be crapping your pants in the Clio! Looks like it's going some speed otherwise slamming it in reverse and flooring it might be the best plan, or climbing out the sunroof and banging on the windscreen!

I get more flustered by horses in the road, especially when I had the Supra as getting past them on a twisty road without frightening the horse whilst still avoiding a head on collission was tricky! I understand the need to go from field to field without bothering to box them up though.

Erm, yes it is! How can something natural not be environmentally friendly? It's only us humans who can't handle the bacteria in it and end up having stillborn babies and the like - so it's not human friendly.

They'd need a binbag? Dog poo carries toxoplasmosis and horse poo doesn't? I'm sure there are other reasons.

  21. No, I meant they wouldn't fit a horn to a plane that travelled at 300 odd mph because it would be useless! I think the bizarre circumstances required to have a plane flying at under 200mph at ground level with a blind pilot and copilot are too few to consider when designing plane safety devices.
