There are LOADS of staffs in Pompey rescue, we can't have one because we don't trust Loki with them since he was bitten badly by one. Do you have space for a crate? They're cheap enough and it doesn't have to be huge if you get a reasonable size dog. Most dogs can be left alone if trained properly, just ignore them when they moan and ignore them when you leave/come home. Dogs have to follow your rules not the other way around, if you have to go to work and leave them then they have to learn to live with it.

I think it's more like they are fighting together and you can't judge it in our terms of good and bad. Seems that Jacob is the powerful one (the god) and has imprisoned Black/Flocke on the island. Don't know what Black is but I still think he's bad and Jacob is his guardian. Hence the bottle analogy; Black is the 'bad' wine that wants to get out and Jacob is controlling the island to be the cork. Not sure about the little conversation he had with Ricardo saying he wants people to realise their potential for good or whatever it was, and he recruited him to 'help' people make the choice (over Black). Maybe Black was one of the first 'people' he brought to the island who is naturally bad, he argued that humanity is always bad and Jacob disagreed, and then Jacob 'took away his humanity' and turned him into smoke man? Also, I think it was Black who appeared as his wife, in order to trick him into thinking that killing Jacob would bring her back, I think Jacob is just Jacob and Black is the tricky shapeshifting nasty one (the devil). Richard's mental though, hence them saying he doesn't actually know anything. He's been on the island for ages but the whole ep was showing that he's a naive and hugely religious Spanish bloke who wanted to live forever as the lesser of two evils (well 3; not being able to see his wife, not being absolved of his sins to God, and dying). He thought from the start it was hell they were going to (the island is protected by the Devil as the other slave said), but Jacob actually told him he wasn't dead didn't he? I think we can discount Richard as anything meaningful. he's just a messed up guy who's been around for a while.

I didn't when I sold mine (I drove him around instead). But a private seller with no (3rd party) cover is different to a dealer with huge insurance coverage.

That's the problem, buying a single on the net is a lot easier than driving 5 miles out of your normal route to work. We'd also need a list of who supplies all the supermarkets and small name garages. I think it would be a better incentive to stop using cars, to get rid of road tax and just use fuel as the tax - admittedly then they would hike fuel to stupid amounts costing us a LOT more than tax used to, in the name of replacing road fund.

No the next blackout was mentioned IN Mark's flashforward. He remembers more about his blackout after doing some drugs and hypnosis and sh1t. So the next one is due to happen after the date of the first one. Who knows though, I think Mark stumbles on evidence suggesting they have the means and the newfound knowledge to make their own blackout (first one was a random accident with the 1991 Somalia tech added to Lloyd and Simons experiment being a catalyst), so he assumes they're going to do another one. Maybe after Lloyd tells the FBI that Simon is doing stuff on his own and they all realise Lloyd is a good guy.
