  1. It really upsets me too, and I'm not so sure if I did do it when I was a kid I did enough bad things, but I dunno about littering, or spitting. Anyway, it is illegal, so we can only hope some London based company introduces automatic litter-dropping detection cameras or something and starts fining the dirty bastards.
  2. Jake. He's so sharp and to the point Oh, and Dusty for getting my guitar to me. and Eddie Van Halen.
  3. I think they're just problematic routers. Are you using the 1.3.35 firmware? Have you tried setting it to G-only rather than "Auto-108mbps" ? Lots of PS3 owners having issues with interference (clicky)
  4. Hmm. There really isn't anything in there to set or unset I have : Firmware: 1.03.35 Channel: 11 Mode: g only Wireless Isolation disabled WPA-PSK security that's about it. I normally like to go for WPA2 or WPA1+2 so maybe that had a bearing on things, or maybe forcing G-only. But like I said, it might still be crap.
  5. Well, it's at my mums and I'm rarely there, so it might still be shit but I think I did get there in the end. I kind of thought it was just a duffer because I bought it from eBay, but I suspect they are just problematic. They're an early/pretend MIMO Atheros thing. I'll connect into my mums and see what I have set now..
  6. Which RangeMax is it? I had similar problems with the DG834PN. I think I got there in the end, after altering/disabling various settings but overall it just didn't work very well at all.
  7. Where can it be had for £695?
  8. Hand made aluminium panels add to the cost somewhat. Or was it hand put-together? Can't remember.
  9. Ah, that explains it. I remember seeing the how-to guide on the Soarer site, but never any talk of the Supra one.
  10. I've wanted to change my pollen filter, but I don't know where it is. Does anyone have a diagram, or could explain what this 'scuttle' thing is? Also, for de-misting, switch on the air-con and it will demist almost instantly. No need for warm air.
  11. Remarkable! I wonder if today's consumer 3d graphics cards could render with that clarity? These would presumably be software rendered. I appreciate that the marvel is in the modelling work, not the rendering quality but I'm just curious all the same - could we have real time graphics like this in games some time soon?
  12. That guy is awesome. "I wanna see some games!"
  13. How does RLTC know the front wheels are straight? I can understand that it would know you were turning hard right / hard left due to different wheel speeds, but a little bit left / a little bit right?
  14. This is just so normal though. I know I keep harping on about it, but you are living in a fantasy world if you think your 12 yr old Supra has come over from Japan with 50,000 miles on it It's nice when they get found out like this though
  15. This was a UK company, possibly beginning with I, and the bends were somewhere around £15 - £25 for different types.
  16. There was a link to a company that sold them cheap, in somebody's "My single turbo project" thread recently-ish. I thought I'd bookmarked it but apparently not.
  17. So, what's next... bring back gollywogs?
  18. A victory for common sense
  19. Crikey! £600! Well, her insurance will be paying if she can't afford it herself, so cost isn't really an issue, but I will probably go for a UK bumper so that I don't have to cover that daft hole. I'm sure the mountings will be the same. Here's a photo of the other bit I'm talking about (the rusty bit): http://img112.imageshack.us/img112/4320/88891105pr0.jpg and here's a picture of the damage. You can see the square piece behind the numberplate that I was talking about too: http://img50.imageshack.us/img50/8481/46498751gu3.jpg
  20. The vote box on the right of the BBC page isn't working As Class One said, Radio 1 is bunk anyway. Radio 2 is lovely. You've got Terry's soothing tones to wake up to in the morning, and Jeremy Vine's super commonsensical discussion show in the afternoon. I'm not too into the chap who comes on after Jeremy, and Chris Evans is just OK, but overall it's great. Alice Cooper did a show on there for a little while too last year-ish Nice music too
  21. Thanks Col. Does that mean the J spec one won't need painting at all? That diagram doesn't show the piece I mean. It runs across the bottom. It's the cutout that I want rid of. A painted square of plastic has been placed behind the number plate to cover the hole.
  22. I kind of do hope you all get them, although it'll leave me disappointed that I didn't buy one
  23. I think the fact that it comes under "Local Policies" suggests it would be logging to the local machine. That'd be fine then if you were resetting peoples passwords through AD Users & Computers on a server, but if the users were resetting their own passwords (CTRL-ALT-DEL) then I guess it's going to be logged in their own event log. Still, you can view their event logs though computer management remotely, but it'd be a PITA to go through them all. Maybe EventSentry could help, or the free version (haven't used it).
  24. You can audit logon events.. I wonder if it would log to the local machine though. I haven't tried it myself.
