    Voip - Again

Some providers will pre-configure a handset (Grandstream or similar cheapo usually) for you which saves a bit of hassle. An ATA might be a nicer idea though simply because you can use any old cheapo cordless phone with it. Linksys/Sipura are the popular ones. If you want a proper SIP handset rather than ATA adapter/regular phone, then again the Linksys (ex-Sipura) ones are good and can be had for OK money. http://www.voipon.co.uk if you were to order from a UK supplier.

    Just crashed

The doc won't do much for that. At best you might get some Paracetamol/Codeine combo tablet that you can get over the counter anyway. You're not thinking of claiming whiplash off your own insurance are you?
  3. Although having read the article, it's sounding like we may have Blu-Ray in the home soon
  4. Sony's proprietary technologies never win! When will they learn. Time will tell for sure. Minidisc ? Memorystick and all it's retarded incompatible "other memorysticks Pro/duo/whatever" Betamax erm.. there are more annoying Sonyisms.. lemme think.. A[A-Z][A-Z] audio file format. etc.

    Gaming PC Case's

No minimum order there buddy. I've been in and picked up individual one-off cases a couple of times. They only do cases, mice and PSUs I think.. no blue-chip stuff There is 1off pricing on the spreadsheet as well as 5off.

bosse computers in Trafford Park do all the lian-li cases. They're the importer IIRC. Have a look on their website http://www.bossecomputers.co.uk/.
  7. The 111,111,111^2 one is true, and I definitely can't lick my elbow..

    Just crashed

but that's the best thing though! You can have low-speed fun when it's wet outside. Ultra slow tail out action. Much better than having to hammer the throttle 'cause the road's warm and grippy.
  9. I wonder how many of us have just tried to lick our elbows edit: oops, only just saw the last line.
  10. The people behind the Great Firewall of China manage it so I'm sure you could See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Shield_Project#Bypassing

    CPU Coolers

I just noticed, you can't use the stock cooler anyway since you already bought the OEM chip. Unless times have changed (I don't follow hardware stuff much), that means you dropped your CPU warranty from 3yrs to 1yr as well.

    CPU Coolers

As Dr says, the Q6600 runs very cool anyway. I am using the stock cooler and I am running at 3.0GHz (stock is 2.4GHz) 24/7 with no problems. I have left all other buses running at their proper speeds, just clocked the CPU FSB to 333. I am running Fedora 8 x86_64 and it's working marvelously well. I have all the fancy compiz-fusion wobbly firey desktop effects in use, and I have a virtualised XP Pro running that I RDP to on another side of the cube for running Outlook and a couple of other apps. Not sure what you're into, but I'm finding all sorts of marvelous stuff for GNU/Linux right now. Ardour, Rosegarden & Tuxguitar for music stuff. All sorts of video/music stuff. Failing that, go for XP. Stay well clear of Vista. All Vista is doing it putting a lot of effort into stopping you doing what you might want to do, e.g. protecting/encrypting media streams through the machine. Also Vista has pretty much the same memory limitations as XP, since this is dictated by the architecture and not the O/S itself.
  13. I also have the later LSD as well. Basically everything except for leather seats (thankfully.. I had leather in my UK Supra) or Recaro seats.. Oh, I don't have the REARS suspension though. Might have liked that one. and I'd really have liked a VVTi engine
  14. I found the chart. It says RZ-S is basically an RZ in which *everything* is an optional extra So I have an RZ-S with almost all the optional extras (big brakes, rear wing, 17" wheels, front auto spoiler, etc.) The owner should have just bought an RZ in the first place. According to the chart though, you are right. Recaros are standard on facelift RZ cars, but not the RZ-S. To be fair most people don't differentiate between RZ and RZ-S. It's just RZ or SZ to most.
  15. RZ-S was just a slightly differently spec'd RZ. Less weight apparently so maybe it's the Recaro's that do it? I don't even know (off hand) if mine is an RZ-S, it's just a possibility. Where's that chart then..
  16. I have an RZ facelift with no Recaros, so I'm fairly sure Unless mine's an RZ-S I suppose.
  17. Recaros weren't standard. The standard facelift seats are different in that the headrest part does not move/adjust. The headrest is part of the seat instead of being a separate peice. At a glance they look identical though. Mine came with big brakes.. maybe standard then. LSD is a different type. The specifics are in the "new model differences" Toyota document. Electrically folding mirrors seems to be more common with facelift, may be standard facelift item.
  18. I have a single p4 2.6Ghz w/2gb & 160gb IDE running ws2003, exchange 2003 + scom, so this will help lighten the load a bit. I just upgraded my computer to a core 2 quad 6600 w/4gb with the idea of virtualising stuff but so far I have only bothered virtualising XP Pro for Outlook & NetSupport. It's just an overpowered workstation I guess. At least I'll be able to bring my 15k 74gb SCSI drive back into use.
  19. Sod the screens - it's the Dell keyboard I had my eyes on I was thinking Parcel2Go. I have an account with Business Post but I haven't used it in about six months, and I know they will be at least ~£15+vat. I suppose at least this way Business Post will take whatever it costs if we underestimate the weight or whatever though. I'll PM you.
  20. OK. I could probably arrange a courier if you can't. I suppose I'll need to know weight & dimensions etc. You have a box for it?
  21. I'll take that of your hands. How much for delivery? What's the COA sticker on the top?
  22. Very annoying knocking over rough roads.
  23. I changed my battery recently also. As usual I went obsessive and spent ages googling for the largest capacity battery that I could fit in there. In the end I just bought a Halfords HB005, non-calcium, since I think they may be a con/not worth the extra/still be dead within 2 yrs/have crashed the car by then anyway/etc. Car sounded lovely and sprightly when I started it. Then I took it straight into the bodyshop where it's now been sitting for a month Battery will probably be fooked when I get it back
  24. That made me laugh. Didn't pick up on it when I read it.
