  1. I did think that when you got all excited when I suggested spending more than a tenner. Don't spend loads.
  2. I thought girls liked dildos. Do you not?
  3. How does that happen then? If you had pre-ignition that would push the piston down causing damage to the upper part of the con rod wouldn't it? Or would it? I have no idea just trying to understand.
  4. Spend more than "oh, not much, maybe a tenner" then
  5. Chick next door is buying you christmas pressies ? Is she hot?
  6. think I'm gonna buy a guitar instead. I've already got an OK camera.

    Ebay

nah, he'll just "mutually agree not to complete the transaction" with himself, and get his selling fees back. All he'll pay is the listing fees.
  8. I would like an SLR.. we went to that Ernest Hemmingway-area bridge in Ronda, Spain and it was just gobsmacking, but really needed some super-wide lens to photograph properly.
  9. yeah.. come on! quick! get her to open it!
  10. They're not the sort of things/brand I'd ever buy either, it's just that Google products search bought up the Asus EEE PC on Mesh's online store, and I remembered it as Medion but couldn't remember medion IYSWIM.
  11. This is a breath of fresh air though and shows some signs of sense: (and they were named: Thomas Orme and James Quantrill) Whereas the earlier article said that the pair couldn't be named for legal reasons.
  12. D'oh. After all that, it was MESH who i had seen were selling the eeePC, but it was Medion that I was thinking of anyway.
  13. OK. The tools I have are the ones from this guy in his picture-guide for the job: http://98mkiv.spaces.live.com/photos/cns!7423A5237F34EB62!360/ See photos 25 (black plastic thing), and 29 (weird long thing). They are what I and a few others have. Somebody should take a mirror of those photos and maybe work it in with TLicense's guide (can't remember if Tony had pictures. It was Tony wasn't it?)
  14. If what I have is what you're after then you're more than welcome to borrow. I bought it over a year ago knowing they were rocking horse shit to find, but haven't used it and might never, but I bought it for peace of mind and a rainy day. Suppose you need to figure out if what I have is the right thing. I'll see if I can find the original thread on Supraforums and see if it has pics. I'm not living at my mums so can't take pics.
  15. and UK Spec mk2 Lexus GS300 by the looks of it. That's where all those VVTi N/As went to..
  16. I have the ones that a few of us (Jake, me, others) bought from the chap on Supraforums. Is that what you mean?
  17. Where? What do you mean? There seems to have been quite a few cameras sold in between all the scammer-like eBooks. If the stuff is drop shipped from the east I'd expect to wait maybe four days for EPS or whatever it's called delivery or two weeks for normal.
  18. Well, I don't know about a problem per-se, but I think (it's been a while) I just wanted long recording to a PC so I could look back over a few days and I seem to remember not liking my options for doing that with an IP camera. The ones I played with were more targeted to sending snapshots to email or ftp, or remote watching via a web browser etc. It's all down to the quality of software at the end of the day I suppose. I suppose that's totally different to what I said before ("good live framerate"). IP cameras are best for this I suppose. I setup an Axis one for somebody and it was great to watch remotely via a web browser. I think I meant life-like framerate recording but I can't remember what I was thinking when I posted
  19. Picture not bad! One thing that bugs me about my (and many other) DVRs is that the resolution is something daft like 576x288, so it's like half the vertical resolution of that one of yours. A PC camera like yours uses VGA-esque resolutions but all the analogue stuff uses crappy TV resolutions from what I can see but I don't want IP cameras because I want a good live framerate and stuff.

    Petrol Strike

BP are always the most expensive. The BP station near me (Stretford) charges 115.something for BP ultimate. I just don't use BP at all if possible. Teach them to screw people.
