  1. No ipod contol unit with it then?..could be your problem if you haven't? most people nowadays look for at least that in a headunit... Good luck!
  2. Standard exhaust off my TT that has done 58k...you will notice that this has a centre section without any boxes:blink:...dont ask me why thats how i got it from import. Cant say that it was any louder than standard..but maybe breathed a little better. Please note their is a small flat/scuff on the underside of the tail pipe...this is not really noticable when fitted otherwise in very good order. £60
  3. Looks like you know where to get some now:) i got mine through the place i bought the car, they promised they would get a set so i chased them up and they came good in the end. Same price i believe too as above.
  4. i just looked in my garage for u and i have the passenger side one...i had the same prob and had to buy a set so get mine.well not buy exactly:eyebrows:
  5. If your gonna go for an aerotop next go for the TT and not the n/a.....been there done that if you look in my garage. Personally i would stick with what you have, not unless you need some funds. Good luck and nice UK TT too!
  6. a facelift with indicators on the front wings?headlights are not right either. Sorry but this may put people off.
  7. Wait untill the oil cooler goes....thats a nightmare! or the headgaskets or the dis pack or the cambelt rollers fail...the list goes on with those thats why they are so cheap, nice while they are going tho
  8. yeah repost iam affraid...jap student project i think it was said. Some more pic's somewhere on here?
  9. I have been watching your thead with interest and have been tempted to buy these...i suppose the only thing that really puts me off is how much money do you really have to spend to get a little more power and when would i really use it...i think most people here like the sound to go single...i know there are pros and cons on both sides of the fence, so it's just personal preference i guess. Credit crunch isn't helping you either at the mo... come to think of it it's not helping me either as i would have had these instead of sitting here dreaming of what it would be like to go hybridised. Might be better for you after xmas?
  10. After looking at your attached web sites, i did a calculator on my tyre size and i think you will find i have it right as it's within 0.2% @60 mph..so at 59.99 mph i will have a reading of 60 mph and we all no speedos are not that accurate anyhow. I do believe the 235 on the front reduce the risk of tramlining too over all the package i have feels very well set up...i would recommend rethinking rolling the arches as this would be a costly venture to reverse once carried out and it will also act as a rust trap. I do understand we all like our car's to look the way we love em to look, if that makes sense...just be careful you don't ruin it..have a look on the forum i remember looking at a post once where a guy had put 295's on[sHOCK][/sHOCK] imho i didn't look too good...but hey that just my opinion. If your looking to get good grip think quality tyre not width....or if your just going on just looks then go on what you love the look of, but as you said the ride can be compromised. Hope i have at least given you some idea's of what to think about and i have not come across too harsh...good luck:) have a look here.. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=143818&highlight=295
  11. Yeah i hear what your saying...iam planing to drop the car down a little so this should look better...and when i got the wheels i had a cracking deal on these tyres:innocent:...thanks for the heads up thou, i will keep it in mind when iam due for a new set. Good luck with the arch rolling:)
  12. I use 235/40/18 conti's on the front and 265/35/18 on the back, iam on stock suspension and have no problems at all with these....some people use 245 on the front. A word of advice dont try 285/35/18 on the back as they will rub ...not unless you want to roll the arches? look in my garage for pics....good choice mate!
  13. looks like someone has forced it though, and the hole were the grommet sits in is out of shape....try and put the hole back into shape first and refit the grommet which seems to be stuck on the foam under your carpet, i would use a bit of sealer just to be sure when refitting the grommet and finish off with a bit of underseal around that area underneath.
  14. credit crunch not hit you yet then mate i see....nice moter though, keep us updated on any sprited moments you have in it.
  15. Keep hold of it for now if i were you....at the very least wait untill after xmas, you know silver facelift TT's are the best:innocent:not that i favour them;)
  16. what size is it? and do you have the restrictor ring too? and is it a j-spec or u.k? thanks.
  17. For 23k and you dont even get the bonnet the same colour;)....this is gonna have to be some special supe for that money...good luck though!
