It's better to have a cheap second car than to use it all the time in my opinion...na or TT.Mind you it depends on if you have a long drive to work...assuming you do work that is?? Good luck mate ...they are great cars to own!!

  11. My old stock system only had one box and that was the rear one...it did branch like you say...but no boxes there..is this normal:search:
  12. I have a 96 TT Auto and have just fitted my second decatt (HKS 3"), i also have a TRD exhaust system just recently fitted, hks bov (not that this will make any difference iam just reliving my youth;)). Iam peaking out now at 13 psi on occasions (with the first cat still in) which i suppose equates to 0.9 bar..iam pretty happy so far and thinking that for the preservations of reliability i might end it there! Oh I do have a HKS panel filter on the way..iam just in a dilemma whether or not to go fully bpu. And what's the con's on leaving out the sensor on the first cat if i did decide to go that way? Thanks:) Oh yes boost readings are through my AEM guage
  13. I will have the filter mate...if no one has pm'ed you about it!?
  14. Had a BBQ saturday and watched it all from my back garden:D.....fantastic!! shame it's only every two years...watched the lancaster and spitfire's too:salute: as they went over late yesterday, apparantly their is only one left in service??...working order that is...i dont think you can get on it from gatwick:jester:
  15. If it's done correctly it wont...iam guessing you mean engine and not coolent!?
  16. You might need to say if your using it on track days or just the odd blast.
  17. The UK bonnet scoop was designed to reduce the heat on the rear turbo. This only really came into some sort of use over 100mph...hence jap imports(limited to 112 mph) not having them...or so iam led to believe?!
  18. I have one..came off mine when i fitted the active spoiler, its in good nick and no damage mines a 96 facelift with 58k on the clock. Pm me if your interested and make me an offer?
  19. It will be fine mate...quite common on the corsa...is it the 1.2 or 1.4 single point injection..looks like it! Put a flushing oil through it and try and give it some long journeys then drain and fill with a good quality oil. It's basically water condensation build up through lack of use and as steam rises it ends up at the top point..your rocker cover and oil cap. if you really want to make sure you have it clean take the rocker cover off and clean it out off of the car...you might want to check the breather/oil return too that's situated on the cam carrier at the back..you can see it in pic three. Headgaskets on these will show up through the coolant bottle..usually! and various other sign's too long winded to go into.
  20. I took my TT one off the other day to change for a TRD one and it didnt have the two centre boxes...is that right for a TT? sorry for the highjack fella.
  21. On a positive note..for you who are wondering these sound great and prob the best bov to buy..imo.
  22. All diesels have injectors mate...you might be thinking that it's not a common rail...this engine will have a mechanical pump..prob ideal for the veggie oil stuff.
  23. I agree...sorry dude but you might get more luck on ebay with that price as their are still owners out there that are not in the club:blink: Just for a guide i paid £125 for mine off a member here and it was only 3 months old and mint...maybe try and swap it for something you want/need it might take the sting off a little:shrug:
