Hi everyone My Supe is in for a major service tomorrow morning. As they will need to be messing round with it both engine on and off, up on the stands etc etc I could really do with the alarm & anti-hijacking being off the entire time they have it, otherwise they're going to have a nightmare with it. Does anyone know how to turn it off? I have read about the 'valet mode' but I think that only turns the alarm of until the next time the engine is started?? If that's the case then it's probably no good - I need it off for the day really! Anyone have one of these alarms, or any suggestions or advice I would greatly appreciate it! (by tomorrow morning if possible! )

I...just...like...Supras...
-
I can't remember the exact name or specs, but I've seen a widebody gold Supe on a DVD and it was lovely!
-
I walked over there today and had a go. There was 8 on the track. In the first 15 minutes I was leading with 26 laps done, whereas the next was 25 laps right down to eight place with 21 laps completed! I didn't get the fastest lap though, got the second fastest but probably the best average, as I overtook all 8 at least once. It was great fun, but in the second 15 minutes my arms were killing me! I still managed to get a better lap time somehow, but for about an hour afterwards my arms felt like steel! I got to wear my shiny new motorbike helmet as well for the first time, so felt well professional! (starting my bike course Saturday)

Is there anyway they can be sorted to pass the emissions test? Maybe a crash report will be repaired by some kind garages or something! Anyone willing to step up and pay for a Skyline R34 to crash?! It'd be a right bummer not to own this car in the future. Is it just R34, or all Skylines?
-
Hehe - was it one of those "This is how you do it...oh s**t" moments?
-
It is sooooo easy to find. It's on the A32 towards Gosport but I'll be able to show you all on the night. I'll check it out before the date for parking/speed bumps etc. I wouldn't mind a bit of motorway driving - see how fast the TTs are! Where are you all meeting? I could meet you somewhere on the M27. Rownhams is probably easiest, but is quite far considering I live just outside the Karting front door in Fareham! Maybe somwhere closer to Fareham, but there are no decent stop points are there?
-
Cheers folks, you can permanent marker me over the pencil! I wouldn't mind meeting somewhere along the way for the convoy, as I live 50-100m from the Karting place and will feel a bit silly driving over! (I'll feel worse walking over!) The teams are 5 or 6 people, so as long as everyone is fine about 6 I'm in & will bring the £10 on the night. Talking of NUR specs - I need one

Is that how easy it is to swap them round!? Who's got some clear ones for sale!?
-
I've just spoken to my 'so called mate'! and he's off on holiday that weekend, so if it's I'll jump in with the Bournemouth Massive?? That's if WSB2 isn't going? If Steve w2 isn't going does that mean there will be room for GTI-R Darren too? We need a B'Massive decision so we can sort things out!...
-
Hmm, looking like me and my mate will be the only ones on my team! I'll probably book up tomorrow for a team, and get some mates to come along, I'd rather have had more Jap car owners in the team though!

OK a date has been arranged for this now - *Friday 4th June, Arrive 7.30pm for 8pm start* So the Karting place don't turn away other bookings and nobody turns up & them lose their money, we need to put a deposit down. I phoned them on Friday about paying my £10 deposit, but they wanted one single £400 deposit from the whole group doing it. I spoke to Steve-o today & he sorted out with them to pay deposits for each team of 5-6 members. So, we need people to confirm whether or not they can make it that time and date and then sort the teams & pay the deposit. I will be paying £20 for myself and a friend, so if there are 3 others who are teamless give me a shout, so we can get the money together for a team. I don't mind paying the deposit, and collecting the £10 from you on the night as long you turn up! I'm a student & losing any amount of money seriously affects my chance of keeping my Supe! I don't know how well you Bournemouth boys know/trust each other so maybe you could sort something out so one member pays the deposit over the phone or whatever, and the rest reimburse him/her. We need to sort this out between ourselves fairly quickly, then I'll double-check the numbers with Steve, then we can book up! So - who's 100% in...? 1) Elliot 2) James (need 3 more before I pay deposit)

There isn't a reserve on the auction, or it would say "reserve not met" The seller might end the auction a few minutes early if they don't want to sell it that low, but I suppose if you phone them they might want £11000 for it. Checked it out yet Soonto!?
-
Cheeky suggestion - You should check it out anyway...just in case! If it all sounded good, I'd be interested. Not sure how I'd raise the money that quickly though!
-
Come on you lot - one more for 2 teams! I can probably get someone else to come along, but would prefer another Supra/Jap car owner really. I thought we'd fill 2 or 3 teams easily, the amount of Supe owners that live near here. 7-8pm on a weekday is fine with me, so is the beginning of June.
-
Sounds like it's going to be more than a mini-meet, with the amount of other teams from other car sites interested, looks like there'll be plenty of nice cars there! Looks like there's one 'Team Supra' (5-6 of you Bournemouth lot!)done. Anyone want to start making another one? Once we've got numbers Steve-o can work out the date & everyone can confirm they can still make it.

Who are the Supra mechanical Gurus in the S.E of England!
Elliot replied to Robbie's topic in Supra Chat
Great thread everyone, it's definitely worth discussing to see if it can work Isn't it true that a lot of mechanical problems don't become apparent straight away? One problem is you might leave feedback straight away when you're happy with your purchase/work, then a couple of weeks/months later it might go pear shaped & the what...? Could this be started initially with just a list - no feedback involved? Specialist Toyota/Supra garages or tuning companies in different areas or counties that Supra owners use and are happy with. I think I've put too many of these in this post! -> //////// -
Maybe it's an NA, or more likely - maybe it's likely limited to 112?
-
1. Steve W2 2. ? 3. ? 4. ? 5. ? 6. Elliot - w/end or wd/eve 7. James (Elliot's mate) CBR600 - w/end or wd/eve Make sure you put what you'd prefer - weekend or weekday evening.
-
I'm definitely up for it. I live around 100 metres from the front door so would be a fool not too! I've just spoken to Steve, and he said it can take up to 14 teams there, so I suppose we could get 3-4 Supra teams or whatever, depending on how many more people/teams sign up from the Skyline, GTO, Scooby sites. I'd personally like to go on a weekday evening, but can make the weekend as well. Shall we start a confirmed list then so he can get numbers, and book a date? I suppose I'd better start a new team if you Bournemouth boys are sticking together then! Anyone from Fareham, Gosport, Portsmouth, Southampton area up for a 5 man/woman team?
-
I'm well up for 'Go Karting for Fun'! I live dead opposite the entrance on Fareham Rd. I've been there and the Eastleigh track quite a few times & it's great fun. The Fareham (technically Gosport!) one is better as it's tighter and there's loads of corners to go flying past people on. It's weird driving after being on those karts, the steering and accelerator feel so light when you get back in your car. Once you've chatted to your mate Steve, we should start a new thread on here about it and see who would want to go. Like I said - put me down, I've got 2 exams left but apart from that nothing that can't wait for Karting all summer! Oh yeah, my bike test 15th - 22nd May is quite important too!
-
Alright Steve, good to see you've joined up! Would be good to get some Jap cars together monthly, I'm sure there's plenty around this area. That multi-coloured MK2 Escort that came in Lidls carpark made my night! Oh yeah, and the police car that joined the cruise - who said they weren't fun!
-
Right all, my cars all shiney & ready to go! See you there if anyone goes!

Good stuff - Red dash is it?
