I sold my '94 SZ Aerotop in June for £8100. You're right about NA prices though, I think you could get a half decent one for £4000-£4500 now, but not for £3500. They're always going to try it on first time around - just say no! I suppose your personal injury claim (if you're making one) will push the overall war chest up to something more reasonable though!

I had the magazine with the FATF replica. The guy (Mark?) said people kept asking him if it was the real one, even though it wasn't an aerotop! Where is Avon Custom? Somerset or somewhere?

I can't be bothered to go downstairs & check! Is there someone with any kind of motivation to do it, rather than me leaving the computer!?

It went great, thanks for the help and info Tim. They were very friendly & did a great job. He said it had been replaced at one point before as there was way too much glue at the bottom of the old windscreen. I'm just worried about the cost of replacing the windows if they get broken when the car gets resprayed!

I've never checked, but I think I heard it's stamped at the bottom of the seat belts, or am I thinking about something else!?

Was it an NA then? I thought the Bomex nose had holes for the lights etc...

Nice one. There was a stack of history with the car but I left it in his house when I bought the car (too excited to get in and start driving!) He's sending it down, as I reminded him last night but I do want to get everything checked out anyway so I don't make anything worse.

Hey all I bought my first TT around a month ago & want to put it in for service to get it ship-shape! No doubt they'll find loads wrong with it which will cost me an arm and a leg, but I suppose if it's got to be done, it's got to be done! Right....what should I get done? Shall I just ask them to check it over, or what? Any suggestions? ie Oil change? If you do come up with any ideas, can you please post the prices as well? The car's got 84,000 miles on it. Supposedly the oil's been changed every 4000 miles (valvoline) Finally, I've used Toyoda Tech in the past & have been happy with their work. Is there anywhere else in the Hampshire area (or surrounding area?)

Looks interesting, however the Gameseek website lists it as the "Pokemon Colosseum Mega Pak" whereas the others list it as "Pokemon Colosseum Black Bundle" & only talk about the disc. Also, the weight shown (135) is roughly the weight of an X-Box game so I guess it's just the game as none of them mention the console. I suppose the bundle includes just stuff for the game like the organiser or whatever. However the photo's do suggest you get an X-Box, but by the time just the game arrives it'll probably be changed.

Alright Chris I saw you a couple of days ago as I was going across the roundabout by the speed camera, you was coming around the roundabout to the Castle in the Air I guess. I put the hazards on put wasn't sure if you'd seen me! Anyway...Have you tried Silverlake scrapyard? There's 3 Supras up there. Most of the best bits are gone, I can't remember if they had any kits on them, but it might be worth a look as it's only 10 minutes from Fareham

Thanks stt (sorry, don't know your real name!) I'll be ringing my insurers (Churchill) late tomorrow afternoon, and hopefully they use Autoglass. If they do, then I'll PM you & your help would be much appreciated! I don't want someone turning up to fit the window who knows a hell of a lot more than me & then me hassling them about product codes etc! I'd feel a bit cheeky! Then again, it needs to be done right I suppose! I've seen a couple of scrap Supras lately with the rear quarter windows intact. Worth taking them out!?

Nice one Tim! Thanks very much mate. How do you know so much about these? Do you work with glass/windscreens or just had problems in the past with yours? I'll call my insurers tomorrow & make sure I get someone who knows what they're doing out to do it!

By 'stock' do you mean the exact sealing strip they used when the car was manufactured? Can they still source those?

Cheers Todd I meant the rear bumper when asking if it was a new one though!

I've seen some photos on the traders websites, but they are only small. Does anyone have some larger photos on different coloured cars of the front, sides or rear? Is the rear bumper a completely new bumper, or is it just the lip at the bottom which wraps around? The reason I'm asking is that my bumper needs bits taken off & filled (badges, fog light, number plate surround etc) & thought it might be easier getting a new bumper.

Last night I had a little cracking sound whilst driving. I have heard it twice before in the last week or so. I popped out earlier and there was a crack around 15cm across the left hand side of my windscreen. There is a stone chip which I never noticed before & I guess it has just split from there. I've read a few posts on the subject, and will go through my insurers, but what window / tint or code number shall I make sure they use? Any more advice would be appreciated as always

That shows how much I know about painting! I thought blue would be nice and easy to touch up or whatever. What about gold Dude? Is that a 'relatively' simple one!?

CA Red does look nice, but I've just read Matt Harwood's post about the nightmare it is if you need to repair anything. He reckons you're basicly looking at a complete respray. I need to check with my insurers to see what the difference will be.

It might have been done to death, but it still looks great! The Rage site is great, but I think their paints a bit too much 'show car'. I wouldn't want to drive in case I chipped the paint as most of their paints I doubt you can get an exact match for touch-ups? (Don't they put different layers on etc?) No-one's said no to gold or yellow so far!

That is nice, Any more details on that car & where they got the work done etc? That's the same bonnet as mine, I think mine will look better with the spoiler I've got though:devil:
