  1. what would be the perfect offset for 11 inch wide - wondering if its possible an arch roll its avoidable..iv noted the massive lip but i wouldnt roll it up id flapper it out tbh whats the width limit up front and rear with standard arches? interesting thread as il be after some wide work meisters shortly so good to see some offset and width info flying around
  2. Id take one if you made them, martincoupe
  3. Hi guys, really new to supras so not sure what to expect after only 1 drive - can anyone offer up some guidance? I picked up my vvti tt supra at the weekend...iv only driven it for a day and the mods are: uprated fuel pump, Nur spec exhaust, and a blitz boost controller. Intake and intercooler are standard. it looks to be running 1 bar boost I have a dyno print of the car at 390bhp so its fast enough while i learn the car - however it seems that when it comes on boost it comes on rather strong and 'all at once' is this normal power delivery for a vvti twin turbo? The car feels great im not complaining at all as its a lot of fun, but is it possible to remap the stock ecu or install a piggyback chip to do so or is this generally a waste of time? im considering a fmic if this is the case simply as this will bring it in line with a 410bhp bpu install but otherwise il just save my money and keep it twinned until i can afford a single turbo kit and standalone ecu. Edit: will the stock twins struggle to fill a 4' fmic kit? cheers
  4. alpine spr-60 coax's, they just look a bit deeper than the focals
  5. are there any limitations on speaker depth using these? the speakers id like to install with them seem much deeper than the focals so just wanna clear that up before i buy a set
  6. Indeed Dunk If im going to buy one it needs to be the best out there quality wise..
  7. yeah we all know the ones - couple of questions Guess we cant get genuine ones anymore - or if we can where from? price? Who does the best replica's? (in terms of a perfect fit) or are they all the same? Prices range from £350 - £500 so wonder what the difference is here if any Ta Jon
  8. Likewise Phil, pleasure to meet and do business. See you in the near future
  9. Youl need to set the reg to the same pressure as you currently run. I dont know what a 2jz runs at but for some reason 3 bar rings a very familiar bell on a performance engine. Did a quick google and found this http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?601682-base-fuel-pressure so i might not be far off but im a noob to the supra game so i stand to be corrected by all means
  10. Years ago when i built my impreza i did a lot of homework and the general advice was to stay clear of sytec/FSE or cheap regulators in general. They were notorious for failure and i installed Fuel Labs equipment instead. The quality was top notch and even though i was utilizing all 3 ports on it (impreza parallel setup) it still had space for a pressure gauge. For something that does such an important job - and if your putting it on your pride and joy...id say buy something like a fuel labs.
  11. Another vote for BMW's 6 cylinder dervs. I have an E46 330cd msport coupe and its superb. I dont worry about mpg but im mid 40's and imagine it would be more if i drove on cruise control more often Only things to note are inlet manifold swirl flaps - you can blank these before they collapse/get sucked in. EGR bypass - £90 just bought an allard item. Im going for an exhaust and remap but keeping conservative power wise. They drive great, pickup in any gear and have all the goodies - A/C, leather, Sat nav. As theyre upto 2006 theres no DPF to worry about "recharging" either. Had 2 VAG 2.0 diesels and would not go back to them little 4 pots
  12. Seen theres a few posts on these lately - has anyone got in touch with the original poster to see if they are avaiable? Id also take one..just wondering if the ball is actually moving here?
  13. Its me who has left the deposit on this car Very exicted!
  14. el_bandido Im in Howden and work in Leeds so not far at all would deffo be interested in a ride MattP, fully agreed! have BC BR's on my impreza with track rated springs and theyre rock hard but its a fully stripped/caged machine so i chose them to suit the car i was building. I wont be taking my supra on a track so just want something uprated, with ability to dial in height and damping adjustment - i wont be using it everyday where as my 330D will be getting KW V3 or maybe some MeisterR if they are that good!
  15. These look amazing, hows the ride on them for a street car?
  16. What is everyone running on theirs? Just stuck a deposit on a rather nice RSP tt 6sp and first up will be wheels and suspension so wondering what people are running coilover wise in the supra land? Preferably sub £1000, its only gonna be a street car so do i need pillowball top mounts? initial instinct is swaying me towards HSD or BC - comfort doesnt need to be a primary concern as its a weekend car! Ta
  17. Looks great mate, bet you're chuffed with it!
  18. well if samdale has just sorted one for the same criteria they've gotta be out there that is for sure.
  19. Not considering importing yet - just putting the feelers out to see if anyone has one but didnt advertise it yet. Maybe an unfinished project or similar. My budget is flexible for the right car - its most important the chassis and bodywork are amazing and can be preserved. Id much rather have a stock engine that i can single up later on once iv collected the parts. supra_jms shame your is an auto, looks a lovely example and a great colour too.
