  2. N/A auto will be a small flange.. A01A diff usually.
  3. R154 will be a straight swap if it has the JZ bellhousing. You'll need the front half of the R154 prop too and mate it to the rear half Supra prop. Or get a custom propshaft made up for a few hundred quid
  4. Hi all, I've had swiftstu message me on Facebook. He's tried to login but it won't work, when he goes to 'forget password' the security image is just a blank white square? His email address is If someone can help him that would be most appreciated. Thanks,
  5. Me too! I've only driven the car once, and that's when I drove it home after buying it Had a mate take it for tyres and then this was just a quick start up check after the plugs were done, I won't be putting any miles on it till the oil in the block and box are changed.. thats the Sunday/Monday job
  6. My BPU TT auto would do 25-28mpg on the motorway off boost chilling at 70, when boost was set to 1/1.2 bar it would drop to 10-15mpg
  7. With the rally just a few days away I have to crack on with the list of jobs that need doing (mainly a full fluids/filter service and pads all round) So yesterday after I work I decided to do the spark plugs, man I forgot how brittle those coil pack connectors can be! Plug 3 was dripping in oil, 5 was wet and oily, 6 was a bit watery too. So rocker covers needed doing! Luckily there was a set of brand new cam cover gaskets in the boot! A bit fiddly to remove (rear left bolt just under the scuttle in a PITA) but the old gaskets were solid, the exhaust one came out in one piece, just! But the inlet gasket was rock solid, snapped it 6 places just trying to get it out. Quick clean up and new gasket on, put em back on, tightened everything up and then... oh dear... Car spluttered and coughed, wouldn't idle at all and then a few seconds later it just died I thought the coils connectors were broken, but then a quick snoop around the engine bay and I found the culprit! The vacuum hose from the inlet to PCV had cracked when I removed it from the cam cover, luckily I had some left over reinforced 10mm rubber hose from the Supra build where I replaced the steering lines. Put it on, started the car, and she purring like a baby By the time I packed away and cleaned up it was about 9:30pm, human was hungry! Once I started I couldn't stop, just had to get it done, glad it's sorted now!
  8. Good to hear, people always make the mistake of selling their Supra because of life. SUPRA IS LIFE
  9. They are Lexus TTE wheels , not sure if factory black or been sprayed at some point!
  10. So one of the rear tyres had a nail in the sidewall Good excuse for fresh rubber! Eagle F1 Asy 5, expensive size on these 275/35/18, £152 for each rear tyre fitted The centre cap was almost seized on, garage was worried about it snapping and I didn't realise how rare these centre caps have become! Luckily no breakages!
  11. I can only imagine if this car featured in the Fast and Furious it would be £20k+! Yeh they have been creeping up, missed out on one last year for £4500 with 45k miles in black, would be worth £9k+ now I saw your sale post for a white one last week, was on another website from 2017 single turbo, looked really nice
  12. Sup, Unfortunately my Supra wont be finished in time for the Banzai Rally next week ..so I needed to get a Jap car. I was looking at R35 GTR's, Chasers, Evo 8/9's.. but instead I ended up with : A lovely condition and spec Aristo! Absolutely love it already, extremely comfortable and a proper cruiser with every single option (heated electric leathers, sunroof, touch screen TV/nav, black wood trim, folding mirrors, TTE wheels etc. etc.) with a nice power band from the VVTi and twin turbos. The car was originally imported to Dubai from Japan and given the name 'Kitano' (written on the UAE customs paperwork) so I will be keeping the name alive! It needs a few jobs doing but nothing major so I will update this thread as I go along ..and in the meantime be getting my Supra finished hopefully!
  13. I wouldn't bother at all.. just throw Vpower/Tesco99 and Redex in the tank and go for a good Italian tune up!

    Pressure ?

I run 34-36 psi when I was running those sizes
  15. Hi, Has anyone got a N/A fan shroud available? Thanks, A.C.
  16. GB Autotec (who are building the bespoke wiring loom) put an EGT sensor in the downpipe. So got that on yesterday - the 4" downpipe is massive... almost too big! A bit of force and managed to get it in place and line up the turbo! Turbo looks awesome! Downpipe is very close to the water line so will be getting some fire sleeving on there. Just need to make up my oil lines now
  17. Wow ..impressive!! May I ask what the cost of the new gearbox was? :o
  18. Have you tried ..putting a different set of brake calipers on?
  19. MSL can fit a LSD for around £1500 Can munch through tyres and keep on top on the wheel alignment, and location of petrol pumps lol I missed out on another C63 facelift in April in the peak of Corona, it was cheap.. £15k for a saloon with 58k miles, but now the used market is strong money, they will go up I believe. What about the Audi RS4? or the big boss RS6?
  20. Take the siren apart and check if the water has got in there. If the board is damaged it can do all sorts of weird things.
  21. More annoyances! While my Supra was at Walton Motorsports having their manifold sorted, it's still not right.. really not impressed! The 2 lower studs are inaccessible, no matter what flexi/wrech/socket configuration you have, there is no space to tighten the nuts up. I messaged them and they said to trim the studs and it will be fine. I knew this wouldn't work as there's no contact with the studs, just no space to get a socket/spanner on it! If only the runners were a few mm to the side it would be simple! (pics below) Only solution for the: Front lower stud - take the stud out and replace it with a high tensile allen key bolt Rear lower stud - use a narrow 14mm spanner and go from the left hand side UNDERNEATH the manifold by dislocating your wrist and doing 1/4 turns on the nut specifically from 5 o'clock to 7 o'clock, so glad I don't have massive shovel hands otherwise there's no hope! While my car was there I paid Walton just over £400 to have custom one piece boost pipes made. The throttle body was fitted, he had the manifold and turbo all bolted to the block so it should have been no issue. The pipes looked good, 2.75" throughout, flared to a 3" to the throttle bosy and a 2.75"-2.5" reducer on the turbo elbow. But when it came to fitting... The fan blades hit the bloody pipes!! ..and that's before the fan shroud is fitted, and there's no way I was going to trim 1" off each blade and my cowling and faff about! Also it was resting on the alternator wire and the bottom rad hose had to (ideally) come off to get it in nicely. Again... not impressed! SOLUTION! Cut up my £400+ boost pipes and do the job properly myself. As you can see I came down at 45 degrees from the turbo and hey presto, no issues! Why they couldn't do this I have no idea?! Then there's the intake side! It fits up just fine... but the Turbosmart Gen V BOV which they supplied me, and they had at the time of making the boost pipes is angles right at the aux belt pulley, there's maybe 4 or 5mm ..again, all they had to do was rotate the flange 20mm away from the engine and there would be no issues! I'm really not impressed with the quality of their work, the manifold itself looks good and I'm sure it will be, but the workmanship and logic of how it goes together is horrible. I paid top money for all the parts and service + £160 to get my Supra transported there and back! You'll also notice that on the webpage for their GE manifolds they now do a Type A and Type B. This is only because since my car has been there they have admitted that the manifold is not ideal for a Supra engine bay. Oh well... live and learn! Good new is I got my catch can fitted!
