  1. Yeh it should have been quicker, my BPU TT auto did faster times! I think my 700hp NA-T Supra would walk it, shame about the bogging starts. I do like the seats tho
  2. Lower runners sold Oil filter housing sold
  3. The stock TT springs were definitely black on yellow shocks
  4. What profile are your tyres? Ive just ordered a set of new shocks, top mounts and suspension bits from Paul at TCB, may be worth giving him a call. Is your suspension in good order? When I had my TT auto on stock 17 wheels with factory yellow Bilstein shocks and springs it was soooo comfortable, proper GT car! Like you I just want comfort, currently on same size wheels are you 245/40 front and 285/35 rears ET35, but with TRD coilovers which are quite harsh, so I'm swapping to yellow Bilstein
  5. I have one, . Sent you a PM on Facebook
  6. Shout out to SRD again! Mike remotely whizzed through my ECU on a Saturday afternoon and sorted out my rev limit and a few other bits. Hopefully all sorted now, I felt bad disturbing them on the weekend but Mike seemed happy to help
  7. You can be brave and have a go, not difficult if you have the correct tools and clean work space. I had my bottom end forged by James Hart, not sure if he's still operating though. But he did a great job and the engines been mapped making good power and running sweet as. My plan B was to get SRD to build it, you will pay for it, but then it's worry free and future proofed with the forge build. They finished my car off and did the mapping, 110% worth it.

I've with Sky, but come renewal if I can't increase the value (currently capped at £30k) then i'll have to looks elsewhere. I've heard Reis Motorsport are good too.
  9. If my 6 speed ever goes bang I'll get the T56 from Grannas or a modern ZF flappy paddle conversion. For me it's too risky spending £5k+ on a 25yr old box
  10. It has been done with people using the GE runners and getting them welded. I just used an aftermarket manifold
  11. Meanwhile here's a cool photo I took minutes before
  12. Had a engine warning light come on Sunday ..sad times. I was only a few minutes from home so just eased it back. Turned it off and on and was still there, but weirdly next day it went away? I plugged it in and sent the file off to Lee/SRD at 6pm last night after work. He messaged me back just after 9pm the SAME DAY and told me what the problem was. Proper customer after care. Turns out my TPS triggered a fault, so I need to check the sensor or wiring when I next get a chance. Hopefully a simple fix!
  13. You might get away with it depending on tyre size and ride height
  14. Well I'm 10J ET35 rear and it rubs on 285/35 tyres, suspension will get raised soon and hopefully clear. If not they'll get rolled
  15. Yeh too far for me aswell unfortunately bud
  16. I had an 08 plate Sport, 3.6 TDV8 HST.. sounded amazing and the comfort is incredible. One of those few cars I could throw a double mattress in the back, get to work in the snow and give it a wash and use it as wedding car. Alternator was £550 from a local 4x4 garage (luckily warranty covered) Suspension had issues, needed a compressor and level sensors. Tyres aren't cheap! Cost £120 to fill the tank with VPower. Interior is quite dated but simple and easy to use. Would I get another? Probably not but they do get under your skin, I've been on ATrader looking at the 2011/2012 4.4 TDV8s ha. But a more sensible choice would be an Audi Avant quattrooo Get a warranty if you can, if not just have a float in the bank ready for repairs! They are lovely when they work, but if you get a lemon its like an achievement getting to your destination without a warning light coming on
  17. Where abouts are you mate?
  18. Yeh that was on the rear, fronts were 235 tyres, any bigger and they rubbed, car was lowered tho.
  19. I had 19's on mine, was quite uncomfortable. 9.5J ET35 on 255/35/19 tyres and they justtt fitted without rubbing. Sold them and got wider and taller 18's to help putting the power down and a bit more comfort on our British roads!
  20. Yeh I love it! Tyres are Eagle F1's, 285/35/18
  21. I have been out on a few drives. Cars killed so far: Stage 2 335i Various 911's C63S, I needed the boost upped to 550 to beat him, they are bloody quick cars even from a roll! I have videos of it all that I am putting together and will be uploaded soon. The car has struggled for traction but on Monday when it was 20 degrees I went out and with the tyres warmed up in hooked in 2nd gear at 550hp and it shot off, heart was racing! Look forward to turning it up and seeing what dragy box times it does at the full 700!
  22. SMOKEEE!! Was a bit scary, luckily I spotted it through the vented bonnet. Turns out the oil feed had a weep and was dropping oil on the turbo blanket and manifold. Very lucky it didn't go up in flames! Blanket was ruined, luckily @Dave_Batch was around to cut the end, bodge a temp repair and get me home! Got a new line made up from a local hydraulic lines place and fitted the new line with a new Funk Motorsport turbo and wastegate blanket Gave the Supra an oil and filter change too and the oil was a bit dark and so far she's all gooooood! Because of all the Brexit crap my suspension still hasn't arrived. But TCB have said it's due any day now! Will also be ordering a K Sport front and rear set up so my LS400 kit and TT 2 pot rears will be for sale soon. Other than that not too much to report, SRD told me in December my alternator was struggling and the battery has been dying weekly so I fitted a new SRD alternator. But I fear it may be the battery itself, depleted once and now not happy! Will keep an eye on it. The most annoying part was the plug block was an inch further away so I had to cut and extend the wires, but apart from that it's been great!
