  1. You mean a turbo timer? Pretty sure they weren't factory fitted on the Supra. In any case, you don't need one, all it does is keep the engine running for a while when you get out, it allows the oil to circulate and cool the turbo as the engine continues to tick over. If you really want to you can just leave the car running, but not switching it off immediately after caning it will have the same effect. I have to drive though the estate and then wait on a set of electric gates to open before I'm home so I've never needed to use mine.
  2. Funnily enough, Micra club had one of the most spacious stands!
  3. Great show today, thanks for putting it together Shane! It was a shame the stand was so small, perhaps they saw all the crowds and realised these cars need to be the centre of attention next time
  4. Seen these on wheel whores, thought they were quite pricey considering the condition; will you refurb yourself?
  5. Do you want to go as fast as possible or have fun? I know they're not mutually exclusive but sliding around sideyways note and again does tend to be slower.
  6. 13 degrees and 10% chance of rain, that's as good as you can hope for at this time of year!

  8. Asking =/= selling I'm more disappointed that he couldn't even be bothered to write "This car has had loads of money spent on it, over £30k in receipts"
  9. Goodness me, they are lovely and incredibly spendy! I'll add them to my wish list
  10. Haven't made any major changes to the car yet, so I though I'd save up a few small ones to make this update worthwhile. First of all I was a little disappointed with the keys and fob that came with the car. I was also concerned that I only had one fob for the alarm and no PIN to programme a new one. Fortunately you can still get new fobs and the company I bought from was willing to get the pin from the database, as long as I could get the serial number from the alarm control box. That led to this: It was tucked right up into the dash and I had to move quite a bit out of the way. None of it was properly secured anyway so it's a bit of a mess in there, but that's a job for another day. I am very pleased to report however that I got the new fob programmed and I ordered a new, OEM key that I just need to get cut. Next up, the dodgy short shift kit that was fitted (got the receipt in the paperwork and it cost a whole £40!!) gave up on me and snapped. As you can see, it looks like a real quality piece: So I put an order in for all the replacement parts to get it back to OEM: Everything fitted together brilliantly and the shift action is massively improved over what it was; having lift up reverse back makes such a difference when going for 5th and 6th I also thought I'd treat myself to some new heater buttons as I start to freshen up the interior, unfortunately one of them was out of stock, can you guess which? Lastly, the brakes have seen better days visually so I thought I'd give them a quick once over ahead of a professional respray next year: Fortunately the Mrs was happy to help out as my efforts with a paint brush are normally quite poor! I thought I'd try something a little wild as it won't be long term and I didn't fancy the usual red or silver. It's starting to grow on me now though, particularly with the TRD decals, which I think would have been on a Lexus originally? Unfortunately I still have J Spec rears so wasn't able to apply the matching decals to them. The camera really struggles to pick up the colour correctly, it's actually a little bluer than it appears in these. Next up is to get rid of the boot build and put all the stock trim back in once I've sourced it, followed by black carpet and the dash panels being cleaned up. I'm still on the lookout for a stock bumper too and once I have this the skirts and spats will follow the Veilside bumper into my loft for storage.
  11. No, they were just thrown in a box of parts. I think one of them is down to two tabs out of 8, they're in a bit of a state to be honest. I've placed an order with Amazon for tomorrow so I'll give it a go, if they ping off at some point then I just have fewer parts knocking around the house
  12. Awesome, thanks for the help, I'll give sikaflex a go
  13. I have the centre caps for my wheels but all the clips are broken. As they're quite an old design I'm having real trouble finding another set. Is it OK to glue them on instead and if so, is there a best type of glue to use to put up with the vibrations?
  14. If be interested dependant on pics and if you're willing to post
  15. I know I'm probably joining the back of a long queue here but I'm getting quite desperate to get rid of my Veilside front, so please let me know if you can help! 202 black would be ideal but for the right price I'll entertain anything
  16. Wing, there's a view from the rear 3/4 where the Supra looks absolutely minging without a wing
  17. Don't forget that true Forza is every other year now and we have the super fun Horizon games in between. I do love games like Horizon and NFS as simulation games like GT and Forza turn into a real grind after a while, you end up needing to complete hundreds of races just to finish them. To be honest, nothing had surpassed Burnout Paradise in my eyes. It was insanely fast but more importantly they created a stunning interactive environment to race in that was full of scenery and colours, not the usual empty stands and tyre walls. On top of that all the big DLC updates like day/night and motorcycles were free. I can guarantee you'll be able to double the cost of the new NFS on day one through DLC if you feel like it

    Tom harvey cars

See also Paul Brown Cars; there's plenty of information under these old company names on Google if you want to research.
  20. A very strange assortment indeed! Is there a theme to this shoot? And why is there no Supra?
  21. It does look good, reminds me of the NFS Underground days, although the first Most Wanted from 2005 is still the best. Not as realistic as they claim however, one thing that always annoys me about these games is that every wheel is available in the right fitment for each car, there is no way wheel shopping should ever be that easy!
  22. Yeah, really doesn't help matters with the clips on all the centre caps being broken either! These wheels came like this with the car and its only through research that I've seen how nice they should look. It's a bit of a shame but when I get some different ones I can at least play about with these and try to bring them back to life.
  23. Take it from me, they look awful if you get a cheap job done and don't have the rear markings diamond cut again
  24. No issue at all, just wanted to check if anyone needs to be home [emoji4]
