  1. Or at the very least put wax or sealant on them each time you clean your car!
  2. Thank you, I'll get an order in today!
  3. Thank you. Funnily enough it's still just about drivable as there is enough left at the bottom to move with the collar, I only noticed when I missed a gear change! Is this a relatively straight forward job or should I play it safe and take it to a garage?
  4. They probably wouldn't gain much more unless they started charging to use them
  5. Since picking up the car, I've always had a disliking for the short shift kit fitted to my V160, particularly the lack of lift up reverse which can make finding 5th and 6th 'interesting' at times! It was one of the items on the list of fixes, unfortunately the kit proved it's cheap nature at the weekend and this happened: So rather than just replace this part I'm looking to refresh the whole unit and get it back to OEM. Do I need anything more than the part numbers underlined in this diagram and will this give me lift up reverse again? If there's any other parts I may as well replace whilst I'm under there then let me know and I'll add them to the shopping list.
  6. Thanks for putting this together, I had a really good time and it was great to meet you all. Hope everyone got home without incident
  7. Could be the lance then, does the foam take about five minutes to slowly run off?
  8. I imagine I'd be too polite to say no!
  9. I'd rather they left mine alone, I've just put a fresh coat of Fusso on it!
  10. Snow foam is fantastic stuff but it should only ever be considered a pre-wash. It's only designed to soften and remove dust and crap on your paint so that when you wash it there is less chance of you rubbing it in and causing scratches. Do you have a decent lance? This will make the biggest difference when it comes to effectiveness
  11. I've got one, not sure if it's type 0 or 1, but it lights up red

    got it

They're nice repeaters actually, used to have these on my R53 GP, they're quality parts and the font isn't too dissimilar from the Supra font either
  13. craig85

    got it

They look a little bit like mini cooper s repeaters, if so then I guess s is now for supra
  14. You'll 'should' still have to pass a default cat test as it's post August 95. Sounds like you have a sympathetic tester [emoji5]
  15. As yours is post 95 you will need to pass the default cat test. So you should fail on both the emissions and the cat being missing. It all depends on your tester though!
  16. Well at least they arrived in style! Having gone to a boys school I must have missed out
  17. Is prom a thing in this country now?
  18. Move it, an intercooler only works properly when it has air flowing through it
  19. If you like that you should try the Blade 2 soundtrack, it's as underrated as the film is
  20. Sunshine OST is a regular for me, it's a proper modern classic. You only have to look at how many other movies and trailers have used adagio in d minor from it
  21. I'm working through it at the moment and it's not as tough as you might be led to believe. The sessions are generally 40 minutes long but about a third of that will be stretching after the warn up and at the end. The exercises themselves are tough but like everything in fitness it's all about how hard you push yourself. The biggest difficulty I have is finding the time every day to run through it, it really is a commitment. When you get to the double sessions on the second block and factor in recovery it's pretty much my whole evening!

    Astra twintop

From my experience the engine is fine, decent go and economy, didn't have any issues so can't guide you on anything specific to look for. The twin top however is a big, heavy, wobbly flan of a car so don't expect the driving experience to be anything other than vague
  23. Replica/tribute who cares? The simple fact of the matter is that once you've finished you will be able to have a hot wheels replica of a car you own, that is the dream! Are you planning on the RX7 next?
  24. That looks very clean, got any plans for it?
  25. At the rate n/a manuals are converted/broken I would say an unmolested one will probably be a very rare thing in the next couple if years
