  1. Do you mean all the early ones or as an option? Can't see why though, all the early marketing material shows the spoiler and I would imagine Toyota felt it necessary to have it standard from a safety point of view to reduce lift at high speeds; much like Audi had to with the TT
  2. Saw this a couple of weeks ago, lovely looking car but it's those wheels that really do it for me.
  3. My understanding is that it was a dealer option to have it deleted, rather than a different model; unfortunately that means it's no rarer than one where somebody has taken it off themselves

    Side Decal

I might be if you can get them for the right price, in white
  5. For the right price I would, haven't even seen a silver one up for sale for a while now! I imagine so, lots of lovely cool snow scooped up for the intercooler, they do say that winter is boosting weather!
  6. I know what you mean, but I don't mind waiting over the winter for now, if nothing comes up I'll reassess in the New Year
  7. Ha ha, just pulling your leg man. I've got launch control and I was having none of it, so fair play. At least you know the car should be good for 12s now
  8. I think you're all missing the most important question here; with all that power, what the hell happened at Santa Pod?
  9. Vibration is likely to be a missing wheel weight or something loose/bent, if your tracking is out you'll feel the car pulling. Do you feel the vibration through the steering wheel?
  10. They went up for sale on Wednesday and the condition looks far better
  11. Make sure you get the pro or the plus version, the regular isn't powerful enough to make quick work of the cutting stage
  12. Might be worth a watch before you go out next time! Article can be found here: http://newsroom.carmarthenshire.gov.uk/news-archive/2015/10/dangerous-fake-motor-racing-harnesses-uncovered/#.VienzxrF8y6
  13. How easily do the glass ones come apart? I've got some nearly new UK spec lights at the moment and I'd like to paint the inside black
  14. I honestly wouldn't bother, you're not going to shorten the throw by much and it can make shifting feel terrible. On top of that, I looked at quite a few sets when replacing my short shift kit and none of them are close to OEM quality
  15. I think everyone is, the stock look is very much in fashion at the moment. If I hey a bumper I might be in touch about a lip if you fancy parting with it. I am, I like the stock look and I don't think the Veilside bumper suits the Supra without wide arches and aggressive skirts and spoiler. It's also quite long and low so causes clearance issues. I'd love to swap but I don't think that would be fair on you as the bumper has a few scuffs here and there where is has caught speed bumps and kerbs. Besides, you can pick them up for a lot less than a stock bumper as they're quite unpopular right now. If you are still interested then pm me and we'll see if we can work something out.
  16. Thanks all, a stock front bumper and lip are top of the list at the moment, doesn't seem to be anything around though
  17. Made a bit more progress with the car this weekend, as I started to sort the interior out at last! First up was the audio install in the boot: While I do appreciate a good sound system I found it took up too much usable space and went well beyond my needs. I had taken it out previously and inspected everything, for a ten year old install it was very well put together. The right fuses were used and very high quality, the groundings were good and they had used the right cables for each section; it even had a capacitor for the sub!!!!! There were also a fair few unused cables that I can only assume were left over from a previous install; these went too. The interior has also annoyed me for a few more reasons, the switch panel on the dash being the main one, but also the general state of the grey headlining and carpet. I didn't see much point trying to clean it up as the visors and light surround were a bit yellow and I didn't fancy trying to dye the carpet either; seemed much easier to just replace them both! So Keron was good enough to put this little package together for me to fit into the car, there is also a spare wheel but the wife wouldn't let it in the house! This is all the boot trim I was missing (polystyrene, tools, spare wheel, board and carpet), black leatherette headlining, black UK spec carpet and a set of J Spec dash panels I'm really happy to have a boot again and the black carpet and headlining really pick up the interior compared to the grotty, 23 year old grey that I had before The spare dash panels have a carbon fibre covering, but this will probably go once I figure out what kind of finish I want; but aside from that I probably won't look to change much more this year.
  18. I poked my head in a couple, the rears looked a great place to be; mini fridges, TV's and big armchair like seats! Did you see the one in show and shine with the playroom in the back?
  19. The oil will still get hot, if you use different oil do you expect this heat to go elsewhere? A better quality oil may be able to survive high temperature better, but it can't simply make all that heat disappear.
  20. Also consider that in an NA the very hot exhaust gases go straight out, however they now travel through your turbo and whilst in there heat up your oil.
  21. Cause of high oil temp: Not enough cooling Combat high oil temp: More cooling As you've been told in at least one other thread, get an oil cooler
