    Godzilla

Should only be the R32 really
  2. Rubbish screenshot pictures, spec looks decent but you really can't tell the condition which is key

    Dash cams

I've used my phone quite a few times now but after some of the videos I've seen on YouTube is say it's definitely worth investing in one that includes a rear facing camera too
  5. Depends if you went any further than black plastic arches and wide minilites! I really want a set of their F40 wheels, even though I don't have a car to put them on. They really need a decent UK dealer so that I can visit them and ogle the wheels
  6. Beautiful wheels, I hope you sure similar taste with your Supra when you find one. Out of interest, where did you buy them from?
  7. Nice Fiesta, are they fifteen52 tarmacs on it?
  8. If that's the case then the annex used is incorrect as this shows the JDM Supra judging by the vin numbers in question on this screenshot from it http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/06/02/20a2cafb8e33559db2fbd2b2f6866c31.jpg
  9. That's it, even had stickers of his instagram username on the windows! I think he traded it in for a GTR in the end, it's been very well looked after judging from the paperwork, the only let down was the condition of the paint.
  10. I have tried searching but there isn't a great deal I can find since the last major update of the MOT test, I had to use catalytic as a search term as both cat and mot are too short. Completely forgot about the spec though! It's a 1993 TT6 with BPU - Apexi Power FC ECU, full decat and a Blitz boost controller.
  11. I took the Supra for it's first MOT with me today and surprise, surprise it failed on emissions Fast idle 1 - CO 0.83% (0.3% max) Fast idle 2 - CO 0.85% Natural idle went through ok at bang on 0.5% Anyway, my current exhaust is one piece from the 1st decat so it looks like I'll need either a 1st cat or a 2nd cat and cat back exhaust; with these readings is it likely that I could get through with one cat fitted or will both be needed?

    Hello

Welcome, that's quite a project, reminds me of a Harlequin mk3 Golf
  13. Oh no! Terrible news, are you going to buy another?
  14. Wow, you're a very patient man! Congratulations on the car, it looks great and seems to be in good hands
  15. Thanks, with the Supra being a very rounded shape the bumpers edge do jar with it; I think it's the aggression I like though. Makes a change from all the grinning Supras! I'll probably replace it with a Ridox one way down the line. I'm not sure what the guy who fitted the switch and starter button panel was thinking, it could look cool if done properly but all it does is make the car more of a ball ache to turn on.
  16. Probably better than PVA glue on your fingers!
  17. Right so it's about time I got around to recording the spec on here so that I have a record as I (very slowly) put a few things right and get the car just as I want it. I've had the car for about 6 weeks now and I'm now starting to understand what I need to do to get it 'just right'; I'm not interested in big power and as it's BPU already most of the mods will be cosmetic and electrical. So far I've probably spent about 12 hours cleaning up the paintwork and getting most of the scratches out of it; black cars really don't take too kindly to swirls and marks! Current spec on it is: Apexi Power FC ECU Blitz Sequential Boost Controller Racelogic Traction & Launch Control Trust FMIC Trial exhaust BC BR Coilovers Volk Racing F Zero Challenge 18" wheels UK Spec Brakes UK Spec front lights w/HIDs Veilside C2 front bumper (worryingly it's starting to grow on me!) Toad Ai606 alarm Nardi leather wheel w/TRD horn button GReddy boost guage and Sard oil temp gauge (not working) 10 year old, poorly fitting audio install I think that covers all the major parts so here are the pics: I have a growing list of little fixes to clean up the interior but removing the audio install and sorting out a standard boot liner looks to be next on the list. I might keep the sub and just remount it in a smaller box.
  18. £300?? Get it done, even if you hate it, the satisfaction of peeling it all off will be well worth it
  19. Massive improvement. Am I right in thinking there was no clear coat on the car? Edit: never mind, just re read it! That'll need some serious protection to stop it fading again
  20. The majority of decent waxes and sealants will protect against UV as long as you keep them topped up. Do you know if the paint is a decent quality? I know you have a metallic colour so there will be a clear coat and that will help slow a lot of fading.
  21. Welcome! I only recently bought my first Supra but I learned very quickly to avoid any cars at Motorhub in Keighley, do a quick Google search and you might get an understanding of the quality of cars they sell. Have a read through the FAQs on here first and then I would have a look at the members cars for sale as they're all well looked after and have a forum history that you can read through.
  22. If all else fails just do what I do and wear big chunky skate trainers. They're just about wide enough that I can blip the throttle whilst braking comfortably with the ball of my right foot.
  23. Removing a dpf, if fitted as standard will lead to a failed mot. My company car runs long journeys at well above 3000rpm on a regular basis without any trouble and I really can't see any reason why it would cost you much in fuel either. You have a 535d with earth moving amounts of torque so stop being so tight and drive it as it was meant to be driven once in a while! A heavy foot under acceleration will help keep it clear going forward

    My new Supra!

    Love those three spokes!
