  1. I know it's not the best looking car but...
  2. Me? I just bought a tube of Carplan rubbing compound from a moorfactor, pretty good stuff but I wouldn't use it with a machine as it's a bit gritty.

    GT86 now £22k

I prefer the front end (I know there's about 500,000 aftermarket bumpers for these by now though...) and of course it comes in WRC blue. If a cheap GT86 came up I wouldn't be put off at all lols. Shame the GT86/BRZ didn't come in better/more colours though EDIT: Rarity factor too, think there's about 5 BRZs on autotrader and 20+ GT86s

Love the aerokit, looks great! I'm thinking of getting a BRZ as a daily in January, used prices are now pretty sensible (£13-16k for a 2012/2013)
  5. Machine polish with medium polish & pads = like new after two quick passes Hand wise I'd use G3/rubbing compound witha bit of water sprayed noto the headlight followed by a finishing polish
  6. Dash cam my friend, I feel a lot safer with mine
  7. Arches aren't rolled and no issues in that area (Lexus GS300 18s, 95.jF and 10.5JR) Yeah they have a nice OEM+ look to them, sits very nicely. Got a pretty good picture to show the drop;
  8. whifbitz springs on mine, I can't compare to standard but with 18" wheels with good tyres the ride is very smooth. It's a stiffer spring but its in no way jarring or uncomfortable, just follows countours in the roads more. My Alfa has 18" wheels with painted-on tyres with eibach pro-kit springs, and the ride with that is pretty jumpy/crashy (an improvement over cheap TRW OEM springs though) I'd recommend the Whifbitz springs or Eibach Pro-Kit if you'd prefer a brand name set, Eibach are the very best for springs.
  9. I use the four bucket method with triple grit guards and built in snowfoam hoses....
  10. Lols, thought I'd cover everything and say what I use rather than say what's better than what. Where do you get your Duragloss by the way?
  11. Oh God... You can recommend any product and someone will try to argue with you with detailing items. My personal choices for cleaning are as follows: Car Washing - Bilt Hamber Autowash (formerly Duragloss 901 but they're gone now. I use Meguairs Soft Wash for just getting dust and post-rain crud off) Car Polishing - Menzerna products Car Waxing - Swisswax Best of Show Car Sealing - Bilt Hamber Auto Balm (Auto Wash actually works with this and reinforces the finish) Leather cleaning - Gliptone Leather cleaner Leather conditioning - Duragloss Leather conditioner Polishing pads for machine - 3M and Lake Country Tyre black - Meguiars Endurance Gel APC/cloth cleaner - Valet Pro APC Wheel cleaner - Valet Pro Bilberry Strong wheel cleaner - P12s (use once a year, it'll strip everything off apart form the finish) Quick detailer - Meguiars quick detailer Clay Bars: Bilt Hamber are good hard ones, Megauirs are good soft ones All products are good, 3M, Meguiars, Autoglym, Poorboys and so on. No such thing as a wrong answer
  12. And a veteran (13+ years) Paramedic lost this job because he restrained a drunk and abusive hospital patient....
  13. That strikes me as a lot of money for one of those, buy a brand new Huaracan for £200-£230k?
  14. On one hand I think he's a **** On the other I support his freedom to not give a ****

    Beast at Work

    Transformers, Transformers in disguise...
  16. BP Ultimate97, runs happily enough. Haven't noticed a difference from V-Power, may give Tesco 99 a go to see if the extra 2Ronalds' do anything...
  17. I've been pondering deleting my rear seats, this just sold it to me. (Mine will be a bit higher, sitting around the OEM seat backrest height so it matches up with the doorcards. But similar style...)

    Supra Mats

That, i've bought a £10 pair and i've bought a £60 pair... Both the same, paper thin and lasted a week before they got heel marks. Is "600GSM" or whatever even a thick carpet? May as-well duct tape some offcut floor carpet for the house -_-

    Supra Mats

+1 would like to know, every non-OEM car mat I've had has been fantastically terrible
  20. They're popular cars granted, like people have filmed/photo'd mine a few times. But I think every car has it's own fan base, like a lot of the older guys would come over to talk to me about my British racing green Mk MX5. Odd young person asking about it too because they wanted one. £ for £ I think the Supra is one of the best cars in the world, I think of it the same way as I do with TVR Chimaera 5.0. Supercar killers for £10k or so, infinitely exciting and hugely appealing. But obviously the Supra is a 'hero' car because of various film and video game appearances. Kinda like Steve Mcqueen's Mustang I guess, it has a large fanbase
  21. Good post ^^ Better off getting UK brakes with race pads/disks, and if you feel it's necessary fit some braided hoses and better brake fluid. Whifbitz and Chris Wilson do racing/upgrade brake kits, worth looking into.

    Toyota parts prices

Had Supra MOT'd on Saturday, they found that a rear upper arm had a modicum of play in the balljoint and gave me a price on a new arm... ... £550+ VAT. And I thought £150-£160 for an Alfa arm was exorbitant
  23. Wasn't the Supra with the bigger UK brakes the fastest stopping car of all time until the carbon-ceramic braked Carrera GT came along? £500 for some UK brakes that are exceptional or £10,000 to fix "muh fade". Hmm
