    I'm sorry :(

R33 = Coolest one, good choice! However, I work next to Toby carvery and one of the guys there had a white R33... wrapped it around a lampost. Protip: For the love of Gopd don't crash it, not pretty
  2. Welshman here... ... Why was someone called a carrot? Moron = Carrot in Welsh
  3. I hate the OEM seats with a passion, they're awful (IMO). I want to retrofit these: http://preview.netcarshow.com/Alfa_Romeo-GT-2003-1280-3a.jpg Buttt they're just a bit too big Going to be getting Cobra Daytonas Unless I can find someone to fit me some RX8 or S2000 seats
  4. Three people have called mine a Celica I was mildly offended
  5. Awesome, I've got a friend who has his own small engineering company. Will be getting the wheel next week so can have a spacer ring made up. Might get a few made up just in case anyone else wants them / have some spares. Thank you very much for your help. I'll get some pics up when done
  6. Cered's input: "And they think other manufactures aren't pulling similar things elsewhere?" All the eco stuff seems to be killing engines off early these days. I think the benefits of DPF valves, EGRs etc are negated by the environmental damage produced when manufacturing a higher volume of replacement parts and disposing of old broken parts/cars. Diesel engines should be reserved for logistics and agriculture IMO. Petrol is a fair bit cleaner. IIRC France are bringing in a ban on diesel powered cars in cities. I'm aware I drive a diesel car (non-DPF) but the V6 version of it costs £500 a year to tax...
  7. Just my experience with them. Two cars, two Banner batteries, two lots of issues that were cured by buying different batteries. (Lucas and Motorcraft (Bosch))
  8. It is a good feeling having people take pics of your car or give it endless praise. Been quite fortunate as most of my cars people have liked talking about. mk1 Mazda MX5s in Racing Green are old man pulling machines :/ Alfas on the other hand "Nice car mate.... Does it break down often?" - "Cor that's gorgeous... Wouldn't want one though"
  9. Saw a pair of S2000s in a supra, looked very nice indeed. Think they're on ebay for the £300 mark
  10. Battery in my opinion, used to have a third car that rarely got used. I created my "Three stages of dead battery" theory... #1 - Engine turns around 6 times before starting #2 - Engine turns over, gradually getting slower and slower #3 - clickclickclickclick Give it a charge and go from there. If you're using a crap battery like Banner, get something decent like a Bosch S1/2/3/4/5
  11. Intake bits ok? dodgy ICV could cause idling problems (common ford problem), might be problem #1 of 2 stopping it from starting? Tried a different battery?
  12. Looking very smart, I really need to find a full splitter setup. I've been lazy...
  13. Some politicians must live in their own world, invite some Syrians around and allow them to explain about how their homes and families were destroyed by ISIS and ask them if they think it's within the public's interest to prosecute the people who kill ISIS.
  14. 275/45/18 on 10.5j here, no problems (Whibitz own springs fitted which drops the rear 10mm I think)
  15. ah i see, so you basically made a spacer ring for it pretty much? Was it literally putting the drilled spacer ring in, or did you have to put something in the holes to mimic the studs you just covered? Hopefully it's something that'll make sense when it's in front of me lols. Expecting my Yaris wheel next week so looking forward to having a fiddle

    Interiors and faces

Done so far: - Topgaiters black leather w/red stitching gearstick gaiter - Topgaiters black leather w/red stitching Handbrake gaiter - TRD gearknob (Silver face, black leather red stitching stitching) - 2014 Toyota Yaris steering wheel with paddle shifters, black leather with yep, red stitching To do: - Cobra Daytona front seats, black leather, red stitching, no logo, 3d mesh inners - Topaiters leather door cards - LED conversion (Going for white with green 'activated' buttons and red/white dials - Rear seat delete, replace with a faux-firwall with a sub. Think of how a nissan GTR backseat looks with the sub/speaker, but instead just have a 'firewall' flush with the rear door cards. Someone on here has already done it but mine will be slightly altered.
  18. Looks interesting, will pick one up. Soft spot for Alfas and the first thing I spotted was that GTA...
  19. Grease is grease, I use my red rubber to cook pancakes. Gives them a nice pink colour. White lithium is good but it tastes like Californian butter. Blech.
  20. And of course J-Spec cars on sale in the UK or EU are originally from Japan so imported. Can spot the UK ones as they have the bonnet scoops. I think the majority of Supras in the UK are J-Spec/imports of various vintage
  21. Red rubber grease or white lithium greas eon the strap/plastic road on the front bit of the door going into the wing. rub some of that and open/close the door a few times. All sorted Mine's the same, will be doing it tonight. I can get a picture to show what I mean if needed
  22. Got Some pics? I need a new gearstick surround provided it's unmolested. Got a drill hole in mine
