  1. Hero, thanks for that. Appreciate it, i've now found a Yaris wheel with paddle shifter so two birds with one stone.
  2. Thanks guys, I need to get it serviced so I think I'll take it down to Whifbitz and get it plugged in while they're at it Quite annoying as my Alfa has a leaking thermostat making the engine run cool/over fuelling too. Team bad MPG
  3. I had a plum moment yesterday, went out on a date. All is well driving the Supra, overtake someone on a hill so floor it because I'm a chav. Rear wheels broke traction after going into third. After that it was really struggling/down on power. Instead "oh my God I've broken it" mode. It felt like a caliper was jammed on or it developed a really bad misfire/not running on all cylinders... Drove 20minutes, fuming to myself working out costs for what could be broken and cursing the monolithic idiot in a Skoda doing 45 in a 60. I then stop in the car park, while letting the engine Idle I spot something Snow mode on
  4. Don't suppose you have a picture showing how you did it? I've just found the flappy paddle versions of this wheel for £60, it'd save me £50 so quite eager to do it now. Thanks or your input
  5. Is there any way to remedy this? e.g. fitting a yaris/auris airbag and butchering the connections?
  6. Quick question after having a browse through the forums and it seems Yaris/Auris steering wheels fit Supras. However while digging I came across a post where someone said there's an issue with their clock spring after fitting an Auris wheel (not compatible). Does this apply to the Yaris wheel? Or if not, is there a way around it? This is the wheel I'm (planning) on fitting: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2014-YARIS-5DR-INTERIOR-STEERING-WHEEL-MULTIFUNCTION-3-SPOKE-BREAKING-SPARES-/131551927549?fits=Model%3AYaris%2FVitz&hash=item1ea11b1cfd If anyone's interested I'm planning to fit the wheel, hook up the steering controls using an adapter to my Pioneer Appradio, as mine's a tiptronic I'll be fitting paddle-shifters from an AMG - j_jza80s for example. Thanks in advance
  7. The answer to both of those questions is... He has the right/freedom of choice to do or not to do. The same way you have the right to vote him in or not. I'm laughing at the media coverage that he has, it's at least taken some of the spotlight off the "savage" immigrants
  8. "HE DIDN'T SING GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!!!!34!!!!!!1!!! THIS IS AN OUTRAGE, CHRISTIAN DOCTORS WHO WORKED FOR CHARITIES DIED SO HE CAN SING DA ANTHEM!!!!!!123!!!! DAILY MAYUL IS RIGHT!!!!!!!! LOONEY LEFT!!!!" Front page of the Daily Mail is full of anti-Corbyn, it's beautiful. It appears that their only file-photo of him is doing a sort of faux-Nazi salute. Funny that
  9. Seems I'm averaging 18mpg with mixed bag driving... New o2 sensor time and go from there

    Engine conversion

    For £6k... ... Buy a different car
  11. Definitely - enjoy it for what it is. It's nice to know the exact figure but in no means affects an opinion of the car... E.g. all I know is mine is bloody quick
  12. Meanwhile on-topic... I have the same sort of car as you OP, would you recommend me getting it dyno'd or is this a VVTI/Tippy issue ? "Launching off the rollers" sounds cool but don't think I'd risk it...
  13. Step in the right direction I want Bernie Sander's to be cloned and sent here to run for Prime minister. First politician I've ever seen who has a clue what happens with the people who earn less than £100k a year

    O2 sensors

I'm having difficulty finding decent o2 sensors too (turbo 2000'), I tried the Denso website but they apparently don't exist :S
  15. God tier: Mazda MX5 Mid tier: MR2 Bad tier: Anything that costs more than £50 to fix
  16. I want one still, S1600 or FRP body, RWD conversion with a Focus ST/RS 5pot engine would be incredible...
  17. 50% of the fun on track days is taken out with FWD. FWD can be fun though, but you'd want something small and agile, think Ford Puma, EK9 Civic etc
  18. MX5 mk1 1.8 (post 1994) ideally UK model with the rear subframe bracing
  19. Tried to be... But RAF (Police or IT) didn't want me because I didn't have an English GCSE. ... I'm a two-time university graduate (Law/Uniformed public services) and have an apprenticeship in IT. I'll re-apply when there's a war on.
  20. just tell them you were shot with small caliber bullets so you built up an immunity to bigger bullets and stopped worrying so much...
  21. Veteran friend of mine is the same, said he sleeps like a baby on bonfire night. Not a veteran myself but yeah can imagine IDF isn't pleasant...
