    1995 Toyota Supra TT

Almost entirely stock TT auto, only modifications are hybrids, UK brakes, Whifbitz 3" SS exhaust & wheels.

  3. Afraid so, I took it off yesterday and it appears where the previous plate was double sided on, it's just been sprayed over and generally in a bad state beneath it. Don't see too many around here! Previous owner changed it, I prefer the smaller front too and may well change back to it in the future
  4. Definitely interested to see this after a little incident with a speed bump this week...
  5. Yeah, it looks (and feels!) wrong without it, so I'll get on to that next month probably
  6. I loved the black one, but I wanted UK spec brakes and a gearbox that wasn't made of cheese. I tried out this (auto) and loved it, so it felt like the right thing to do. Thanks both!
  7. Hi guys, Figured I'd do a little thread here both for me to track the 'progress' I make with the Supra and to show some pictures, basically Got her about two months ago when I sold my black NA-TT, but within 2 weeks the turbos were blowing smoke. Took them to get rebuilt and it turns out the internals were a bit more knackered than previously anticipated. One hefty bill later and I had her back on the road... So, this was my first weekend both with the Supra on the road and with good weather, so I figured I'd give her a wash. So, without further ado, pictures! (Sorry for the blurriness, I'm not a very good photographer ) I've had several people telling me otherwise, but I'm putting a stock spoiler back on it at some point in the near future, getting rid of the black number plate surround (it needs spraying beneath) and getting it mopped ...then a wheel refurb, bigger injectors, mapped...
  8. Just had my reminder through today, 123.75 / 225.00
  9. Hadn't thought of the plasticote idea, might have to give that one a shot
  10. Hi guys, My active spoiler may have accidentally hit a speed bump and I was wondering what other people have done when they've damaged theirs? Paint it? Try and restore it to standard again? Pics?
  11. From what I've found out - it was a completely custom job that the previous owner had done to match his Defi gauge in the fan port. Check out this link: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?137463-Cluster-lust (Although preferable to try and be somewhere where you can see pictures )
  12. I think the TT rad is simply thicker? It's a shame you're not closer as I've got an NA cowling that you'd be welcome to try (it's broken, so no actual use)
  13. Over the winter mine gets left a few weeks between washes, but it's once a week in the summer, mostly because me and my mates can break out the pressure washer, a few beers and just talk sh*t all day.

    Injector query

    ....so they'll work?

    Injector query

Cheers David. Plans: Scuppered. (I could've got my hands on a set of 6 ST205 injectors)

    Injector query

Hi guys, Does anybody know if the ST205 Celica injectors (540CC) are a direct swap (obviously with map!) for the J-Spec 440s? Cheers
  17. I recognise that car, it had been sat at Knight Racers garage for nigh-on a year now. Maybe longer? Not sure.
  18. Wouldn't bother. I got my previous Supra from them and they tried telling me a knackered shock that had collapsed was just "the jack rolling around and making noise" - not to mention I wanted to take a car for a test drive, got there after driving for 45 minutes after agreeing to take a car out on the phone and they said oh sorry the battery is dead. "Well what about this car?" "Batteries are dead on all of them, sorry no test drives." Stick with the forum and get one from here mate, it'll be way better.

    Heating

    Interesting tidbit.
  20. Yes, some body kits worse than others. You rarely see additional 'eyebrows' on cars like Supras, Skylines etc. because they look fine without them, there's no need to try and make the car look 'aggressive'.
  21. I like the bonnet bulge though, yes. It looks decent. Wouldn't have it myself, mind.
