  1. I just went out for a quick cold start check now the weather has calmed, no puff of smoke on startup and no smoke at all idling cold.
  2. Well, paint me clueless for that one. If that's the case, is that a rebuild job, or just a case of replacing something easy? (ish.)
  3. Waiting for the weather to calm down before I go and look again, hailstones and lightning now!
  4. No strange noises, not misfiring or anything like that. Just lots of smoke and that's it. :|
  5. Coolant doesn't bubble when it's revved at all and looks entirely fine. Not sure how else to check really.
  6. Oil level is fine, doesn't need changing either. No creamy aspect to it at all. I took the filler cap off and gave it a little blip of the throttle a few times and got no smoke.
  7. Seems drastically unlikely, it was/is running perfectly smoothly, just very smoky.
  8. Maybe it's a sign I need a single.
  9. I've let it cool a little bit and started it up, no bubbles in the coolant and the coolant all seems fine. The colder the car is, the less visible smoke there is. Looks like seals
  10. Hi guys, Completely at random and after a pretty tame drive, I got home and my Supra was billowing smoke. Apologies for the bad position of the video, I only had some grass to hold my phone up Any thoughts? My first idea was turbo oil seals, but they were only rebuilt 20k miles ago by CR turbos. Still a possibility I suppose..
  11. It would fit below the heater controls and things, but I like the OEM+ look I have going on at the minute and don't really want to cut it apart. Top glove box would be quite an easy one really, I suppose I could just fibreglass it in, tilted towards me. Food for thought!
  12. Thought you might like it I'm in two minds about where to put it. I'll either cut a rectangle from the upper glovebox as it's a dark acrylic to match the Defi gauge already in the car, so when it's off, it's just a black square and the screen is only visible when it's on. Alternatively, I was thinking up in the very top right hand corner of the windscreen so it's not in the way so to speak, but is still very visible to me. Hmmm. Either way, we'll hopefully be using the 3D printer to sort out a proper bracket/mount for it.
  13. What sort of price are these coming out at for those of us with standard ECUs?
  14. Hi guys, So this is what happens when you have clever friends with free time. It's a custom boost gauge that displays in kpa, psi and bar. It has a peak warning (flashes and another output, 7 in fact, can be added) and has history graphs built in. I'll be installing it somewhere this weekend, not sure where yet! It looks far too good not to, though!
  15. Voted, silver is a pretty boring colour
  16. ACC is the 12v. - - - Updated - - - i.e. if you don't have the 2nd wire connected, it won't change with the headlights. Hence 'No connect' for those options. Used to have Prosports in my old MR2 - which one have you got?

I just sold my manual Supra and got an Auto, you've really got to drive them to see why. The autobox is lovely
  18. Hopefully I'll find my GoPro before this, just moved and can't find a thing! (Including my winter car's keys at the moment!) :(
  19. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?300987-Nodalmighty This guy
  20. It's nowhere near that at the moment, so I think I'm pretty safe (for now!)
  21. Yeah, they definitely don't spool like my old stock turbos nor make the same sound at all (not to mention the car has been on this club for circa 10 years, can see all the history!) Well, looks like this is going to be expensive
  22. Hmm, looks like I'll need bigger injectors sooner than I thought. 0.9 bar is pretty awful (I can only presume because larger turbines + nearly stock boost = pointless?), so I can't see 1.2 bar giving me quite enough power to be satisfied with it. Cheers guys.
  23. Hi guys, Recently acquired a new Supra that has hybrid twins on it, with an MBC set to 0.9 bar. I'll be fitting my Blitz DSBC soon to poke the boost up a little, as it simply feels lethargic at that level. I've had a little search around but can't seem to find what people believe to be a safe area to up the boost to with 440s & hybrids? Cheers
