  1. I can't see that anywhere on the site? Would be interested to purchase some v161 parts if possible
  2. Not voting for labour or conservative because voting for the same two parties and expecting any other result than a bad government is the very definition of insanity. Although I'm very much under the impression that it doesn't matter who we vote for, I'd like to be proven wrong by seeing any other party than the proven useless two who always get in. The system is well and truely broken
  3. I actually think it's doable just with a long enough road
  4. I don't think he meant on that topic
  5. If I'm correct in thinking it's also gearing isn't it. The 5 NA has a theoretical top speed of 160mph http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?35923-Manual-gearbox-ratios Theoretically the 6 speed TT can go nearly 200mph Obviously wheel size and differentials come into play though.
  6. Very nice mate. How do you get the pictures like that? I've got my partner a camera and try to replicate these but were still getting used to the camera, It's a Nikon B500, not sure if that's up to the task?
  7. That's awesome it's getting there! Looks great
  8. I'm not saying the car is bad at all. I hope it's a good one and that everything is fine. Just when I saw your comment it reminded me how excited I was too! I had my dad with me and always have done with cars just to keep me grounded.
  9. Not to come across offensive but never ever do that. Never go on your own and never have the final decision. If someone says it's a dog, don't buy it. When you go to view a car for yourself, you will never be thinking straight as you'll always have that excitement which is influencing your decision. That's how the brain works, it fills in the gaps with whatever you want to think. Same goes for buying anything really even houses.
  10. Cheers mate isn't a touch on yours though! Got a pic of the engine bay They did a great job on the cleaning of it
  11. You haven't had much luck have you mate, much like me. To be honest you'll want to give up after all this but you will end up losing money at this point. If even a part of you wants to get the car sorted then go to SRD, the car will get fixed and you will still be able to sell it on fully working or at the very least if you break it the engine will be in working order and sell for more. Just an idea. I hope it all works out.
  12. Thanks! I appreciate it. I've done my best to keep the car in the best condition possible. It's sealed now to protect the paint but I'm going to get a ceramic coating to protect the paint for years to come
  13. So quick update as quite a few things have happened since picking the car up from SRD. Only had the car out a few times and the front main oil seal let go and dropped half the oil. Luckily I had one of SRDs undertrays to keep the oil contained. Lee also changed all the belts and gave it a going over while it was there and it appears to be spot on. Decided to get it detailed while it was there and got the engine bay cleaned up. It's looking great right now. I was really worried about getting it detailed as the paint is thin but despite that the detailed said the car was in really good condition, so shout out to Darren at Atlantic detailing. It's near SRD so definitely recommend them Car is driving great again. Got a video to post up. Need to get a decent microphone with a cover on it to reduce wind noise.
  14. Not too much more to see on there really:
  15. Very nice. I have to agree on SRD. when I first joined the forum I remember Johnny saying he wouldn't go anywhere else and I did t get it but now I totally agree. Would get my car trailered there all day long as it's worth it just for the quality of the work. Lee a,ways goes above and beyond.
  16. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?35926-The-sequential-system&highlight=Sequential+system This is a good guide. My issue was blocked turbo pipes. Not sure that will be your issue though and worth checking the exhaust valve, that was knackered too.

    Supra fire

Sad to see this but hopefully it works out
  18. To be fair, how many other uk specs are for sale?
  19. Sounds brilliant, I've been looking at hiring a car but all of them appear to be automatic. Guessing manuals are rare
  20. Repost http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?340870-Gamer-streamer-ruins-a-nice-stock-Supra Look at page 3
  21. I have a feeling this guy is going to be a source of "entertainment" for a while yet EDIT: Nope changed my mind that was unbelievably cringy.
