Did a gearbox on one once, total pita. Put me off owning one but they're a great looking motor. Like Chris said, they're getting pretty rotten so make sure you check it thoroughly -

If you don't mind an eye watering bill I'd buy oem all day. I have a full Hardrace rear end and I can't fault it. Its not too harsh and the quality is excellent. That evo looks great btw

Yeah that could possibly be the case.i can feel it on the paint but I cant make out if it's on the surface or not. I'll order some virosol and see if it sorts it out

Can't seem to shift a load of bug stains on my paintwork. I've used bug and tar remover, a bug sponge and I've tried claying it. Must be another way other than trying to machine polish them away?
