  1. Sometimes buying new will give you a good fit, but as said, second hand, the chances are it has already been altered to fit much better.
  2. More a question for the future really. How much off a ballache is it to remove blended bodywork? (Skirts and rear bumper) At some point I want to tae the Supra back to stock(ish) body (hopefully wider though) but the skirts and rear bumper are blended in. I'm guessing it will cause a fair bit of mess. Is it something I could do at home? (With some guidance) or is it best to get a bodyshop to do it all? Always like to save some money, hence the question. TIA

    Supra valuations

I haven't read the whole thread, but I've had a moment of (possible) brilliance. I want PMs from anyone who is genuinely interested in this thread containing their opinions on the following: Values of: TT6 stock (completely) TT6 BPU TT auto stock (completely) TT AUTO BPU TT Tiptronic UK TT6 UKTT6 BPU UK TT auto UK TT auto BPU NA6 (facelift) NA5 (prefacelift) NA AUTO And the harder ones to value: NATT w58 NATT 6 NATT auto The last 3 stock engined and BPU. For all of them, a price for pre facelift and facelift versions. Things like singles I'm leaving off the list, as there is too much variation in spec. Same for NA-t's. Once I have a decent amount of opinions, I'll post the opinionated price brackets for each, and we can see how much it varies.
  4. Well, that's 3 for the DoLuck already.
  5. Due to a (very gentle) meeting with a high curb, I may be required to replace my DoLuck front end. It probably is repairable (in fact I know it is) but the cost of getting it done, then repainted, is probably going to equal the cost of a replacement and paint. So, here are a few pictures of the Supra, from a few angles. What do we think I should go for? When I got the DoLuck, I was torn between that, and Ridox. Open to other opinions and options though (Even considering stock front with a lip, but not sure how that would suit the skirts)
  6. I agree with Jazz on this one (in part) I have a few bits from them (centre console cover, door arm rest covers, gear stick surround, handbrake cover) and all are great quality, and great fit. No signs of bad stitching in any of my bits. However, I wouldn't use them for a full retrim. I'd go to a proffesional trimmers and get it done properly. I retrimmed my own headlining in white leatherette last year, and this year paid the consequence of not getting it properly done. With all the heat we had this summer, it bubbled, and fell. Needing me to buy another headlining until I cann get it done properly.
  7. I'm guessing it's noise related? Tell them it passed the MOT with the exhaust fitted. If they still say it is too loud, ask them to provide proof. I wouldn't be paying any fines simply because a copper told me my exhaust is too loud. I'd challenge it.
  8. Nope. Mine is red, and is just fine to read.
  9. I'm sure either SRD or Whifbitz do a paddle shift system now (or both companies)

    Supra worth

He did say "BIG single" (To me that says circa 700hp+) Obviously, a small single
  11. I'm interested in this too. After having mine white for the last 2 years, I'll fancy a change soon

    SRD contact details.

Try sending a PM to LeeP
  13. My all time FAVOURITE body kit for the Supra. Top Secret, as we all know, is one of the biggest and best tuning companies in the world, and creations like this prove it. (I was going to say the Toms JGTC Supra too, but was beaten to it)
  14. What width and offset are the wheels?
  15. In the end, as MattP has pointed out, the question was about legality. Considering his proffesion, MattP was in the best position to answer the question. He may not have done it in the best way to start with, however, I feel the (HUGE) post from MattP sums up everything required. Also, Benjy, stop baiting MattP, there was no need for any of your latest replies. Thread closed, as the question has been answered.
  16. Mate, that's really bad. When I had to get the rear bumper sorted a couple of years ago, my garage had it fully resprayed, and back to me in 10 days!!!!! They also painted a bumper, TRD spoiler, and bonnet for me in 3 days. Whatever that garage were doing to your car, it's not what they should have been doing. Quick question.......did you check the odometer reading at drop off and collection? Something smells rather fishy, bearing in mind how long it took them.

    help!!

103000km is roughly 64500 miles, so they have probably converted the figure. However, a lot of cars are changed so the odo reads miles rather than km on import, so mileage is probably higher than stated anyway.
  18. As long as it didn't last any longer than one of your 1/4 mile runs, I'm sure everyone was fine
