  1. Looks like i could put that 'car' in my pocket
  2. thanks Chris Okay cool, strange nobody seems to know what it is if it's as common as it sounds but good to know it's nothing serious
  3. Definitely in for rolling road day! And couldnt do a meet today mate, was very busy, soon though.
  4. So Today i changed my engine oil with a new filter and washer from Toyota along with the gearbox oil with the added extra of lucas stops slip as recommended by David P. I went with Fuchs Pro S for the engine and Toyota type iv + stop slip for the box. I also bought a Greddy magnetic sump plug but i didn't realise until i'd already drained the oil that the guy had sent me the wrong thread size so i put the new washer on the old plug and back in it went. Everything went perfectly well but the bloody stop slip is soooo thick it takes forever to empty the thing down into the box I ended up mixing it with the type iv to try and get it to go down faster. Got there in the end though. While i was changing the filter i noticed a vacuum pipe with no hose on it in between the oil filter and oil dipstick, it's obviously not serious as the cars running perfectly fine but does anyone know what it is? I've also bought some new cleaning products like Meguiars APC and Carlack 68 to give the car a real good clean next weekend, i'm borrowing Gregs DAS6pro too so hopefully it'll come up real nice : ) thanks guys
  5. Great idea Nic thanks mate! I'll try this first as it's non-permanent.
  6. Ahh yeah that's also a good idea mate thanks. Might be a little troublesome to drill that area with my shitty drill though. I'll see how much a local guy wants that did my exhaust before should be pretty easy for him.
  7. Why have i not thought of this? ? i kept thinking what can i put on the end to stop it falling off.....
  8. Hey guys, So I've got a problem with my boostlogic exhaust system, in that the rear hangar just seems utterly ridiculous. I bought this second hand so I've got no idea if this is the way boostlogic intended for it to be mounted but basically the way it currently sits the exhaust works itself free of the hangar once every 6 weeks or so and just bounces around under the car. I've tried several temporary 'fixes' for this to try and get it to last longer, or completely resolve the problem. And it has worked as most recently (came off again Tonight ) it lasted 6 weeks like i said and before it would maybe come off after 2-3 weeks. But obviously this is no good still. So the problem is you get a hangar which you fix to the car, slide the rubber on and the hangar on the exhaust slides into the other hole in the rubber So there is nothing to stop the rubber just sliding off whenever it feels like it! Can you think of the best way to stop this from happening?!? I am lost ;( A reasonably poor attempt at photographing the hangar and rubber....... Any help appreciated as it's driving me crazy.
  9. Your car is a beauty mate. You are not helping my current mindset of staying stock here!!! Yeah i took this into consideration too, seems as my paint and car in general is in such good nick i should probably leave it stock body. I think you're right about doing it on a car with worse body condition.
  10. Thanks guys, overwhelming votes in favour of stock body so stock it stays
  11. Wow! Didn't expect this many opinions already! thanks guys I posted the question on my instagram as well and that came back with similar results, 5 to 1 in favour of keeping the way i have it near enough. It is expensive as some of you say, to do it properly i guess i'd be looking at £1500 - £2k with paint and stuff and carbon trim, even more really because i'd personally have to have the carbon front splitter and rear diffuser. I guess keeping it stockish is the way it'll stay! I've got plenty of other parts to save for anyway like a turbo swap and ecu like a few of you have mentioned. Thanks for your help you probably saved me blowing about 2.5k
  12. Used this giude the other day, meant to say thank you but, thank you
  13. What's your thoughts on a change to a Ridox body guys? I genuinely can't make my mind up As she sits now: Vs Ridox body (although i wouldn't fit the wide arches front or rear: Thanks mate
  14. Any updates on the rears mate? Would love a set
  15. How much would my face lift rears be worth mate? Just lights not the looms. I have no idea.
  16. My offer still stands if you want mate, up to you.
  17. That was cool, really enjoyed the first one, didn't need the super basic explanation of how an engine works but whatever
  18. Was going to say before i saw Jasons post with the miles it's probably about £10k's worth.
  19. I'd also be in for a package deal or GB on both Lee.
  20. There's something wrong with ur brain Grandad.
