Yeah they make a massive difference but you won't have any boost control now mate, the stock wastegate is too small to be able to control the boost without the ring in, I've just ordered one from Whifbitz to put back in to keep the turbos from destroying themselves

That's interesting, I didn't think there was any advantage to using ITB's with a turbo. Forgive my ignorance but would you still get the distinctive sound using them with a turbo? as the velocity stacks would have to be welded to a plenum so I presume you would lose the noise?
