    Pish, Scotland voted mostly Labour and the largest group of immigrants here are English OAPs!

    Not my country mate, only one solitary tory in Scotland. We still remember the 'Thatcher legacy', 20+ years on. The SNP (who are in power in the Scottish Parliament) have said they won't join a permanent coalition, but will vote on policies on their individual merit.

    Nothing to be scared of, the SNP have been in power in Scotland for two years, running things more maturely than the previous Labour/Liberal alliance did. I'd be concerned if the Tories get a working majority by courting the right wing parties and the Protestant extremist parties from Northern Ireland! Scotland's parliament has been 'hung' since our last election, it forces parties to work together in consensus, without having the luxury of the extremes of their manifesto policies. Proportional representation is the way forward for the Westminster elections.

    I'd really like to know when I'm getting the struts back, Ray must be away, he's not answered my last pm about delivery dates. I want to be able to use my Supra's boot for luggage on a special trip with the missus.

    Check your deeds, fences only indicate the boundary. Strictly speaking he divisional wall or fence should be a shared responsibility between the two parties. If the fence lies entirely within the boundaries of your own property, then it is your fence and your sole responsibility. Incidentaly, if a fence is entirely within your own boundaries, you can choose which side of the fence to see, the inside or the outside!

    They show up on Google Maps and there are cars in the forecourt! The business next door is called SH Car Repairs, maybe damaged repairables?

    Why do 'we' need a nuclear deterant anyway? Why spend billions on a weapons system designed not to be used? And, can it be moved from my backyard to somewhere on the Thames please!

    Before replacing them, I've found that occasional application of silicon grease to the rubber blocks stops the squeaking. I think they squeak because the rubber has dried out.

    The weather here is to stay around or below freezing for the next two weeks, I blame all those tw@ts who witter on about global warming! It's natures way of saying that she's in charge, not us!
