  1. Making sure that it is a WRX and not a normal 2 litre Sport tarted up is a useful thing to check!
  2. Lol, I've bought that front lip a couple of weeks ago, it seemed to fit quite well, it's off getting painted at the moment. Going to get the Veilside splitter repainted, but unless I move to another part of the world, it's pointless putting it back on!
  3. Off topic for Supras, but my other car is a Smart Roadster which has a small KKK turbo with no bov. The flutter "turbo stall" sound happens with every gearchange. I know of someone with a Smart roadster with 140,000 miles on the original engine and turbo. Turbo failures are uncommon and are more related to unsympathetic warming up/cooling down than compressor stall wear on the turbo bearings. Ironically, those who fit bov's and then fail to service them, are the ones who have problems!
  4. £37,500 according to Autocar in September 1993. See here:
  5. What's the craic with Hovis? A friend of mine has a Prius as a company car, it is much better than I thought it would be. The dashboard and general styling make me think it's like a modern 'old style' Citroen, but built by Toyota! @ Kayla, you know you're old when you have money at the end of the month and you have a high interest savings account!
  6. Any European market Supra from 16/10/1995 should have electrically adjusted headlights to cope with different load levels. It's part of ECE Regulation 48 on Car Lighting click Self levelling suspensions are exempted btw!
  7. Can his next film be any worse than this one?
  8. Looked at them the other night, bought a TRD replica chin spoiler from them and it's a good fit. Would like to see one on another car and see how well it fits.
  9. Glasgow:cool: There are no Scots in Edinburgh, it's the coldest and rudest city in Scotland. It's also the only place where a junkie tried to rob me in broad daylight in the west end!
  10. "citizens in a temporarily altered reality status"
  11. No they aren't, but I received a renewal from Direct Line as I was already insured with them and it was £70 cheaper than the nearest quote from a comparison site!
  12. Did the usual comparison sites and surprisingly Direct Line were by far the cheapest for my TT.
  13. Stayed in the Thistle Hotel, Euston when last in London with a couple of mates, hotel was cheap (for London) and was relatively close to Piccadilly Circus and Soho etc. Went by train, so can't comment on car parking, having a car in London is a hassle!
  14. It says "I am not in the office at the moment. Please send any work to be translated.":d I don't speak welsh, I speak google!
  15. http://www.coveryourcar.co.uk/store/home.php?cat=482 Not cheap though!
  16. It makes it easier to get a date on a saturday night on base!
  17. Eejits like him are the one's who have caused me grief 3 times this year so far. They come up to enjoy the great A roads, then throw themselves under a car because they ride like they have a death wish, causing the only road I can use to get home to be blocked for 3-4 hours whilst the Police wait for CSI types and look for evidence! As said, either a long wait or a 120+ mile detour:blink: I used to feel sorry for the bikers that had lost their lives like that, but now I resent the fact that they spoil my day! I've a bike licence and a bike too btw - it doesn't change my opinion.
  18. Just double checked packaging for struts and found your cheque and letter of apology. Thanks again Ray
  19. UPDATE! My struts have arrived today, not my originals, but nice newly powdercoated uprated struts! Thank you Ray 7 months late, but thank you.
  20. Parking brake, Merc and many US cars have the parking brake there.
  21. Being 6 cylinder engines, I suppose they sound better than 4 cylinder diesels, my only experience of the 335d is in the back seat of a traffic car!
  22. Still sounds like a taxi to a blind man.........
