  1. The 32-33-35 are truly horrid looking machines
  2. I was going to mention F50s as I looked at them and loads of people run them up front with UK rears. I just didn't bother as Ross only has large rears by the sound of it. What brakes do you currently have exactly Ross and what are you looking at?
  3. The brake surface of the fronts is significantly larger than the rears even though the disc size is larger on the rear remember the rear discs have to enclose the handbrake mech and shoes. You can get away with UK fronts and J-Spec rears but as far as mixing and matching goes once you uprate a set of rears you to the size your talking about you would need to correct the bias to stop the rears locking up first (instability) Equally so uprateing to let's say brembos up front and Uk rears May not cause instability but may cause underbraking of the rear end which will actually translate to an increased stopping distance over say a full UK set up. Basically don't mismatch non oem callipers and if you do fit aftermarket make sure they are methodically matched for best performance. Everybody knows somebody with a large set of fronts and stock rears I'm not suggesting it doesn't work merely it may not be as effective as well sorted matched stock units. Big brakes are pretty though.
  4. Is your car resprayed Matt it looks well..
  5. I like having the rear wiper and washer not that it ever gets used but I see what you two like about removing them. I can't see any issue with removing them hell BMW Audi and Merc don't even fit them on there coupe/saloons.
  6. It's essentially destiny repetitive gameplay with a different storyline is the best way to describe it.
  7. Probably something they do when the engine is out for ease I did think of doing it but il not bother until the engine is out
  8. Looking at the single builds people just pull the stuff out I wouldn't worry about it
  9. Jamie Fosters seems to be OK his is on Syvecs paddle shift with pre VVTI engine and boost logic box but I have never driven one so can't comment further. I couldn't tolerate the boost logic shunt into reverse though it's spine shattering
  10. If he does il just be perched here like a vulture to nab one of his tip boxes
  11. The reverse beep I wouldn't miss to be honest haha I understand that your currently keeping the tip box but do you think these problems can be resolved by fitting a pre Tiptronic Autobox or boost logic or Titan as they are all pre VVTI boxes and having the car mapped that way. The only function I can think you might lose is our digital gear readout.. Syvecs and paddle shift are already compatible on pre Tiptronic autos and seem quite easy and reliable to use in comparison to our electrickery tiptronics. I suppose it's more the principal you were told it is compatible and are now left with a Frankenstein until they can figure it out. Hats off to your patience though J.
  12. First time I have caught up on your thread for a while I didn't realise how much hassle the tip box mapping was giving you. On the bright side your getting all the R&D done for us Tiptronic owners so we don't have to suffer You made the right choice with your number plate location I do like having a Toyota badge on the front but it's personal preference. I am planning on running a Syvecs with a Titan autobox so I'm not sure I will retain the gear readout on the dash yet it's a feature I do like about the VVTI dash cluster does yours still work?
  13. I think its priced very fairly to be honest I wouldnt say its high.
  14. Very little difference barely noticeable unless it's cold by 1.2 your blowing hot air.
  15. Get some cheap second hand parts to turbo the mx5 it can be done for sub £1000 then stick pikey tech stickers on it. I'm on collecting bits to do my cousins mx5 for summer
  16. Surprised you put the Supra on Teeside its a tiny tiny track the MX5 would be much more fun was it? Dont care so much if it gets damaged lol
  17. Thats the RSP one I was thinking about Pudsey has it I knew I had seen one on here.

  19. Alternator -Sold to me Thanks..
  20. MattP

    Rip off England

Audis oil sensor is linked to the bonnet catch sensor :/ it's so overcomplicated
  21. £40 including postage for the Alternator? I base that offer on selling my last one to hodge for £20 including delivery before anybody says I'm being Rude.
  22. Yes they are calibrated differently. Chris makes another unit for the Pre VVTI engines.
  23. There are 2 people on here that have 2002 if I remember correctly one of them is RSP
  24. My old na died at around 320,000km. But it was a mix and match of shit parts cobbled together by previous owners so I was surprised it lasted that long. There was a 300,000 mile UK spec up for sale a few years ago for £3000 if any of you remember that?
