  1. The first Decat pipe is different iirc
  2. If I were you the first thing I would do is get it up on a proper ramp and generally inspect the state of it. My reasoning for this being you mention a power steering leak that you were told was corroded steering lines now it's pretty easy to swap them out but I would assume if they are that bad the brake lines etc etc probably need attention plus the front cross member where the radiator sits are notorious for rotting out on unprotected cars. The engine/gearbox side of things should be relatively straight forward TBH I would be checking the plug wells for oil from cam covers and pulling the efi fuses then cold cranking to circulate the oil prior to startup. They clean up easily it just takes time and patience.
  3. Get it jacked up and get a good look underneath to give you an idea of the condition. If you weren't at the other end of the country I would have cleaned it up for you over a couple of weekends for fun and checked it over.. Maybe one of you southern lot can help him out??
  4. That needs somebody to spend loads of time cleaning and changing/painting bits up. If that's how bad the topside is I would hazard a guess the underside will be a mess have a look and report back. Or bring it to me Il clean it up for you
  5. whip some pictures up of the car please dont worry about it being rough etc
  6. Every year this happens at Japfest now. Poor car Black Supras just went up a further 10p for rarity
  7. http://m.costco.co.uk/view/p/arcan-2000kg-aluminiumsteel-service-jack-model-hj2000eu-900930 Had this Jack for a few year now it's built like a tank. Bollocks to using a OEM jack for anything other than an ornament horrid things
  8. Offers on this considered guys..
  9. I had a look at the ones Keron sells aswell and they look slightly different again I wonder who makes them? Toyota ones are made in Japan Febest ones are made in Germany Kerons are made by Chinese?
  10. I have for sale a Brand new in box Febest Crank Pulley and new Wooruff Key The pulley is Fully Balanced and ready to fit ofcourse the pulley will fit Either N/A (2JZGE)or TT (2JZGTE)engines the pulleys are of the same make up as the stock pulley IE: harmonically dampened with rubber bonding and have the yellow and white timing marks as the stock pulley does. These pulleys have been fitted by a few on here now and are excellent value for money. I'm looking for: £60 including delivery which is what I paid Regards Matt
  11. Just for reference I had a bit of time today so took a closer look at the 3 pulleys I can now say the following... Original Toyota New Toyota New Febest My Original 1998 Toyota Pulley is slightly different in design to My new Toyota Pulley on the outer rim where Nazs failed it appears there is more rubber on my old Toyota pulley compared to the new Toyota one in that particular area other than that they are the same possibly Toyota changed manufacturer. The Febest unit is remarkably similar to the new Toyota unit the only difference I can see is that the black paint quality is not quite as good and the balancing marks are slightly different shape moving on from that... The only other difference I can comment on is the weight which were as follows... Original 1998 Toyota pulley = 3284g New Toyota pulley = 3356g Febest pulley = 3743g Note new Febest units come with a new woodruff key however new Toyota pulleys do not, also I cannot say wether the rubber compounds/glue are different. Price difference: Toyota via TCB parts = £240+£8 delivery Febest Unit Direct = £60 including delivery
  12. MattP

    Late Supra specs

I have seen loads of late RZ-S with J-spec brakes mine came with Bigger brakes though so it must have been an option.
  13. TCBparts price for a Genuine Toyota Crank Pulley are £240+£8 delivery as of today 12/04/2016
  14. Nah im just gunna put this new Toyota one on and sell the febest one I cant be arsed with the potential shitstorm if it fails.
  15. For the sake of £4 it's not worth using again. Heathens all of you
  16. That one passed the tip ex test it's still shagged though.
  17. I already have a new Toyota pulley.. And a new Febest pulley. Nazs was neither his was a different design. looks like somebody was naughty and reused the old crank pulley bolt on that video Naz
  18. Bought both genuine and Febest just out of curiosity going to fit this Febest one first. what's the worst that could happen... I'm the only person that ends up fixing the god damn thing when my brother breaks it anyway lol
  19. I got one a month ago I'm yet to fit but I contacted Febest and they DO balance all of these pulleys I think people are confused about the balancing indentations each pulley will be slightly different. My Toyota unit has 5 indentations and this Febest one has 4
  20. Any feedback from you lot who used one of these ???
  21. It's done well to be fair it's a 1998 pulley and the car has been full BPU since 2013 so he can't complain.
  22. This is the old one with balance marks on the outer rear. And this is the new one with balance on the inner ring..
