  2. This thread is great guys, thanks for the help as I'm seriously considering this myself. Is this the correct 4 runner cap? For the oil feed, if I understand it correct, you've drilled and tapped the end of the long bolt in the pictures with the correct thread for the banjo bolt, yes? How have you routed it around the engine, I'll struggle getting mine out at home so ideally I want to leave it in position if I can:) If i'm stuck could you get the lines made up for me and post them out if I paid up front? And finally have you got any links or tips for the wastegate, turbo and manifold you've used. I'm getting a bit lost on which to go for:innocent: Really appreciate any help guy's.
  3. Ah ok fair enough, looks like a good buy then mate:)
  4. I like them and how cool does the little man look on that:d Where did you buy them from mate, I can find loads of petrol ones but not many electric.
  5. Need a front drivers side caliper asap if anyones got a working one lying around anywhere. Cash waiting
  6. Thanks guy's, took the top wish bone bolt out, sorted:D
  7. I'm in the middle of re-moving my stock (black) suspension but for the life of me I can't seem to get the actual coilover out of the front. I've read this thread and it doesn't seem to be a major problem, although these are different shocks so could be shorter. I was hoping I wouldn't need to remove the wishbone but i'm running out of idea's. Spring clamps will only close the spring up so aren't helping as the gas shocks are hard to pull down and close up as well. I've removed all the bolts and the anti rollbar strut but can't maneuver the spring out through the top wishbone. Any help really appreciated
  8. How do you prove your a member on the gate. The only card i've ever had has expired now:(
  9. I love seeing updates to this thread. Bloody brilliant mate. Wish someone would do a HQ walk round video and put it on YouTube:d
  10. I'll take the active spoiler switch for £5 if it's in decent condition
  11........Looks fantastic mate:notworthy
  12. Unbelievable, I feel frustrated for you. I've got to agree though sh!t service seems common place now-a-days.
  13. I've put this on mine (after asking Stonkin which was the best wheel protector) and after a 500mile round trip to japfest what brake dust there was virtually just rinsed off. I had Rimwax on before, very good but I'd rate C5 higher but it is expensive, about £28 delivered for 15ml:( It's supposed to last upto 2 years and is rated on detailing world. If you do buy it though a word of warning the wheel has to be really clean before you apply, even the old wax needs to be removed for a proper application. I cleaned mine with Tardis and 99.9% APC before I applied as instructed my Rob from G-Techiq
  14. Seen this car at the weekend and the finish was nothing but spectacular. Got some nice video clips of it on the motorway as well:) Well done christian and congrats Mark, the next little upgrade will make the interior as nice as well;)
  15. I'll have the pads. Are you going to Japfest, if so I may have the discs as well
  16. Very clean and tidy, looks great mate. Have a nice trip:)
  17. Front lips looks good mate, actually the whole car looks fantastic:D Well done it was defiantly worth the effort
  18. Stonkin on here put me onto it and after reading up on it, on detailing world I thought it was worth a try. I've put it on mine and the water beading is very impressive but I only done it a week or so ago so can't comment on anything else. It did put a lovely sheen on my wheels though:)
  19. Just a thought Matt. This stuff is very good at sealing and protecting wheels. It very expensive for what you get but I think it's considered by many to be the best wheel protector. If applied properly it's supposed to last 2 years, you may find the elbow grease isn't needed as much:) Just thought it was worth mentioning in case your interested. Wheels look great by the way:OK:
  20. Looks great Dunk, should be able to see my reflection in your doors as you pass me now:rlol:
  21. Good news, glad your pleased Matt. Looking forward to the better pic's;) later. Car is stunning
  22. Yes Dunk they are. What have you heard mate?
