Bet £100 its Definately an airlock! Best way is to jack the car up (or park on a REALLY steep hill) so the Rad is higher than the black rubber hoses above the rear of the spark plug cover, take the rad cap off and massage all coolant pipes while the engine is running, also make sure your heater is set to full whack. Do this for about 20 mins then take it for a run (put Rad cap on again) to get the water flowing, let it cool down and check it, repeat as neccessary. The problem is that the air gets trapped in the above mentioned black rubber hoses at the rear of the spark plug cover as they are the highest point in the coolant system (air is lighter than water: duh) hope this helps:D

yeah meh here as well! How long does it take the car to act completely normal? I reckon you should try and reset ecu and then drive it, then pull any error codes judging by your description I have an incling its your o2 sensor or something to do with fuel injection maybe try some injector cleaner ??

Just bite the bullet and buy it from Mr T, its called a window regulator sub assembly; its part no 69801-14111 for the RH or 69802-14111 for LH. Bear in mind if you buy a second hand/used one you may be in the same position 5 miles down the road... does anyone know what the standard toyota rad cap pressure is (kg/cm2 or psi) ? the blitz one is 1.3kg/cm2 or 18.5 psi... cheers
