It was quite a while ago now but if I remember correctly it was about £650 for the pair (refurbished with metal wheels etc instead of ceramic) so not really a bad price. Best if you give them a ring because they will need to know what turbos you have ( CT20, CT12, CT12a etc) it should say on the turbo housing or someone will pop along and tell you. All the best and good luck. TBH i'd rather it was turbo oil seals than valve stems etc.

I would say from personal experience that is the sign of a turbo oil seal, do you get any smoke on overrun (when you stop accelerating)?? sorry to be the bearer of bad news but a lot of oil in somewhere it shouldnt be is not a good thing if it does turn out to be turbo oil seal, I got mine re furbished at CR Turbos, very reasonable and I had them back in about 4 days! http://www.crturbos.co.uk/

If you get the door card off, it is quite self explanatory, there is 3 bolts holding the glass to the mechanism, you then have to undo several other bolts to remove the regulator and the metal bar thingamybob that the glass slides up and down. You then should be able to remove the whole lot after you have unplugged it. sorry, I have never heard of this before. I suggest you ask your helpful insurance telephone people on the other side of the world what exactly a 'trim number' is..... Actually unless they are reffering to GZ/SZ/RZ/SZ-R etc. but I doubt it.

Yes I agree with you on this point, However some may not do the above and will actually stand up for their families in the face of a violent intruder.

well its always hard to tell the way someone means something they say when its said via text, as you said he seems to have a very strong opinion of certain things, my above post just re-iterates the fact that you cant call someone a 'KW' because you really just dont know them well enough, or what they are capable of.

If you refer to my original post I hope you'll agree that it would be reasonable to give them 3 warnings/chances to leave. If they Ignored me and / or threatened me I wouldn't hesitate to amputate a leg for them. What I meant by my latter post was that I would rather avoid shooting them, but with respect to safeguarding my family I know which route I would choose.

LOL the bhp goes down because the standard 4.3 toyota 1uz-fe v8 has less than the 2jz-gte, but once you tune up the v8 race spec like and stick some tubbies on it..........
