  1. i know the perfect colour sunny but im keeping it to myself or some one will beat me to it. Eye catching, classy, but needs to have the right wheels to accompany it.
  2. Hi what colour should I paint the inside of my panic room?
  3. personally I would NOT stick up a link to it. As you bring it to the attention of another buyer and then miss out on the deal. There are some sneaky bas***ds out there/in here. Its happened to me before.
  4. Hope its all you expected mate, waiting for pics..
  5. ive been lost in your labyrinth a few times before David but never seen any mention of the afore mentioned buckshee ECU connector
  6. airbag is a good call, I don't think its ABS as my car has ABS and that connector wasn't on the NA loom, but it is on all TT looms. Manual an NA.
  7. I know the engine ECU takes 2 connectors (40 pin & 80 pin) but what is the additional 40 pin connector for? CIRCLED
  8. surely an engine is an engine, I don't think you would need to take it to a supra specialist, Do some homework on REPUTABLE mechanics around your area and get the car to them via trailer. A good mechanic will diagnose the fault and should be able to give you a ball park figure but prob wont commit to it. Best of luck at least you got your transplant engine in..im having different troubles. Best of luck.
  9. all depends on condition is it manual or auto rad?
  10. sorry I should have said its for J spec TT Non VVTi thanks
  11. Hi guys im looking for a diagram for the layout of the wires in the ECU (Needs to be downloadable and printable, ie I'm not wanting to pay for it) Im just trying to make easy work for an electrician I have coming out on Monday to do some work on my car. I found this but I can't print or download without paying a subscription. Its very helpful as it has the colour of the wires also. Cheers guys.

    swapping diff

Not really any time saving tips as its pretty straight forward just use a trolly jack to support the diff on removal (i.e. don't feel confident you can lye on the ground and support it yourself) they are HEAVY.
  13. Looks great, do these elimate the bulb failure warning light that some HID and LED kits can give?
  14. What about one of David P's hybrid boxes?
  15. look at post #57 in here personally id give them a miss, knackered diff cover
  16. member called straightsix is your man for answers he built his a few years ago, Can a supra autobox be used instead of a soarer one? just curious as I was going to try this years ago but hate myself for never actually doing it.
  17. Import car parts do them. cost more than Ebay though CLICK
  18. pretty comprehensive, I like using a magnetic sump PLUG, just a thought.
  19. Have you tried a TT autobox? If not try it then decide about converting it. They are great autos. cant withstand 700+ like that car unless its been built though
  20. first link doesn't work for me EDIT neither does second...
