  2. sorry I meant the seal retainer? I thought it had to be sealed with one of the above? Im hoping Lee or Chris will read this mate.
  3. if its "been running strong with no probs at all" why did you decide to change the head gasket mate? If you have stripped it down that far you might as well build a new block
  4. Im changing my rear crank seal soon do I need to use any specific sealant ie do I need to use Toyota FIPG or will THIS suffice? Basic stuff but thought id better ask. Cheers
  5. He lives in Ireland of coarse it'll stay on for a while, and that's coming from a Scottish member. Congrats FAMILY MAN, whats the spec on your Supra? we love pics on here
  6. A tad pricey but well worth it then, I'll be adding it to my shopping list. cheers Rob
  7. Thanks mate, its well named anyway! looks like a ninja threw it in there.
  8. Or try sticking up a WANTED ad for a cheap set of working NA rear calipers with lines, they go cheap. I've even seem go for free before. Try and PM a member called "carbon bullet" he has just stripped a NA completely to bits.
  9. You can buy caliper refurb kits from MrT, Might be a tad pricey though
  10. Cheers mate I only asked as im going to change mine soon, ive heard of HKS ones failing. I think Gates Racing ones (blue one) are the way to go.
  11. I only managed to guess through experience as it happened to me....In a 306GTI6 though which is quite common in them.
  12. What brand of belt were you using Rob? HKS by any chance?
  13. I feel bad now for guessing right. I suppose at least you know whats wrong and not spending money to find out mate.
  14. Good luck, I hope its fine. Is the 2JZ-GTE a NON Interference engine? Ive heard both yes and no.
  15. Repairable..yes. If you have the skills or a friend who does. Id have it checked for any hidden damage ie twisted chassis. Doors can be found on here easily esp in your colour. as for the rear part numbers are below prob not as expensive as you think. 61611 PANEL, QUARTER, RH 61611-1B120 (05/1993 - 04/1996)
  16. My hoses on my TT power steering reservoir have split is there an upgrade/aftermarket equivalent? I'm thinking Gates or Samco?
  17. Ah right, well I never use the air-con due to it uses too much fuel and drains power, I'll go ahead without fitting it FOR NOW and if one turns up for sale I'll fit it at a later date. Thanks again Homer for the EDIT update. Incidentally what fan were you thinking of?
  18. Jubly, thanks Homer. If anyone has jut the main fan shroud pm me with a nice price please
  19. iirc NA's have 2 sensors with 1 wire on each sensor, UK specs and j spec TT's both have 1 sensor with 4 wires.
