  1. Could you not possibly glue a rubber patch (from a bicycle tyre perhaps) on the INSIDE of the pipe? then as you suggested tape the outside. Use LOTS of glue as you don't want it coming off
  2. try and park facing uphill if bleeding it again it will help slightly. If you heater is just blowing cold could it be your heater matrix? pita of a job.
  3. I hate condescending c**ts like that, definitely complain mate it might be the shortest job he ever has. Oh and well done on setting off the alarms.

    New Boy

We love pics on here, whats the spec of your Supra?? Oh and welcome mate, Danke
  5. Honestly mate im in the middle of an NA-TT and its NOT CHEAP if you buy the correct parts and do it right. I'm only keeping my NA for sentimental reasons and I wanted to learn something but doing the conversion. Just buy a TT.
  6. I thought that mate, but I know the bolts are going to snap (rusty) and then how do I change it? it cant be taken off
  7. For 4k you will get a very nice NA-6, but you will want more power soon as they are a tad asthmatic so id personally try seeking a rough UK car (you said you don't mind something that needs work) so the insurance WILL be cheaper even though its a TT. Many people have been quoted cheaper on a UKtt than on a Imported NA. What age are you? Best of luck.
  8. Im in the middle of an NA-TT so my NA 1st cat has to go to make way for a decat, I've done a search and it seems most people just cable tie it up out the way as cutting it off turns on a warning light...Is this right? Also if it got damaged (should it get caught or fall down) how would I replace it as it comes through the underside of the car? Cheers
  9. interior panels look like new, any chance you could tell us EXACTLY which colour/brand of paint you used?
  10. Good work there, you certainly are committed to do it correctly with the complete strip down. Are you putting a TT autobox on to handle the power?
  11. Hi and welcome Macca, take your time and do your homework before buying. I assume you will be after a twin turbo or even a single turbo going by your car history? Don't be afraid to ask questions you'll gain great info on here.
  12. Does it have to be black or white? Id go for something "one off" DARE TO BE DIFFERENT

    crazy supra

    ive seen it before....but wished I hadn't
  15. You should post up a project thread in the Chat section with lots of pics as lots of members (both NA and TT) will have loads of useful advice and suggestions and will be able to help with tech difficulties. Your doing something that doesn't get done very often i.e. trying to get extra power from an NA, most members just accept that it cant be done or you can only get a little gain. Go for it my good man.

    Supra exhaust ?

don't sell your dog that's just cruel.
  20. I use this stuff for all oil based sealants, ie sumps, diffs, etc
  21. How did you manage to smash a diff with an asthmatic NA lump? Sorry couldn't resist slating an NA but im allowed as I have one.
  22. That is quite a lot of money to some people, there are some members on here with fat wallets and think nothing of just buying big expensive parts and there are members who just get by with a standard NA and saving like mad just to buy the basic modifications.
  23. if it really bothers you that much slowly save your £ and get a turbo kit or source a TT lump in years/months to come, It doesn't matter what car you buy if there is a higher spec you'll get slated by some to**er.
