Id say keep it level and raise it approx 18-24 inches at least. I had mine on railway sleepers which was a great help. Putting it back in is the real test youll need a small trolley jack to push the gearbox up whilst lower in the engine. -
Looks great. How much did you pay for the wrap if you dont mind me asking? Pm if you prefer.

If its had you beat for this long mate id take it to a good mechanic. Get it sorted whilst there is some summer months left to enjoy it.

Nice work so far what type of paint did you use on the plastics? i.e spark plug cover -
I don't have photoshop mate but for what its worth id leave them alone. They look perfect as is.

I had a prob with my head and tailights and my dash lights didnt dim. Turned out to be a small plug that goes into the integration relay which is on the back of the drivers footwell fuse box. Might be worth a look

Are ypur headlights and tailights the same? Or just dash?

Youll need the left and right mounting brackets tok mate. Not cheap either £60 new iirc.

Has the engine had any internal work done recently? I remember reading somewhere about a member with similar problems turns out a gasket had been put it in incorrectly (the gasket looked symmetrical) so a small water channel had been bloked by the gasket.

You'll also need a tt prop, diff, engine ecu, airbox, smic, the list is endless... if your doing it right.

Bit of both mate. I did really enjoy the comfort and cornering of the 16s Sunny. Ok so they aren't as aesthetically pleasing but thats never been the sort of thing that bothers me. Id rather drive a car thats spot on mechanically and handling well than a prize winning show car with 19s and hoover belts for tyres.

Im on stock 17s now mate. I just remember the handling and grip of the 16s I was throwing the car into the twisty roads with confidence and ease. Im really considering going back to the 16s. Tyres are cheaper too. Win win really.

I keep getting a notion to put stock 16s back on my car. I always liked the way they handled. Could I be forgiven for being seen in 16s?
