  1. Finally got this fixed. Integration relay (large rectangular box) which is fixed onto the back of the drivers footwell fusebox. Small white plug connects to underside of that...I'd not connected it. It had been to a garage and they had not noticed it either.
  2. Whatever they do it makes no difference to the car whether they are plugged in or not.
  3. I went with the uk spec and now have the warning triangle for a cruise light. It will annoy me deeply. Anyone know if the brake pedal switch is the same part number for an NA as it is for a TT? I have a TT one in the garage but dont reall want to change it if I don't have to. Cheers
  4. That sounds about right then. Mine comes on briefly when started and I dont see any lights again untill I give it a bit of welly.
  5. The guage on the right is from UK spec I thought it had both also?
  6. when you disable it ash does the TRC light just go out? ie TRC light "on" means....traction control is "on". TRC light is "off" means...traction control is "off"
  7. Bollocks! Looking at my clocks it seems I cant have traction control AND cruise control. Gauges are different.
  8. ill prob do the same after i know its working properly. due to the fact ive retro fitted it to my NA-TT I just want to know I got it right. Am I right in thinking there is NO "off" light?
  9. Im just trying to sus out if mine is functioning correctly. As ive never seen an "off" light just TRC light.
  10. Deleted. Meant to be pm
  11. Cheers. Its just if im sitting stationary and press the trac button nothing happens. Ie I have no way of telling if its on or off. Im just trying to see if its working correctly as ive retro fitted it to an NA-TT.
  12. If I floor the accelerator it does come back on when wheel spinning. Edit. To prevent wheel spinning
  13. When I turn my ignition on the yellow TRC light comes on briefly then goes out after 3-4 seconds. Is this normal? I thought it should stay on untill I press the trc/slip button then go off?
  14. One of them goes to the box under drivers seat. (Central locking?) Not sure about the other yet.
  15. cheers scott. yeah my loom(s) are a bit of a weird one.
  16. They have been in the car since I bought it back in 2007. It was an unmolested na auto with 44k still on stock 16s. Its only recently since I done a NA-TT conversion that I noticed these. Car has no alarm etc. They seem to come off the loom that runs along under the drivers kick panel. Complete mystery to me.
  17. Ok ive asked before in tech section but to no avail. I have a couple of weird looms in my driver footwell. Anyone seen these before. My car was an NA unmodified.
  18. or the earth on the horn itself.

    na how much

Whats that being used to cover the stock spoiler holes in the bootlid?
  20. Usually indicates an autobox fault. Have you changed the oil and strainer lately? Check all electrical connectors on the box also. Check ATF level also.
  21. Could anyone tell me what the thick pink and blue wire that runs from the steering column up to the dash loom operates? Thanks
  22. This was my guess also. Although all tt looms came from same car apparently
  23. I must have learning difficulties wiring diagrams make little sense to me. And I'm a openreach tech lol. But I'll try again David cheers.
  24. Gonna attempt to get to the bottom of this again today. Anyone got any ideas?
