  1. Sorry sunny I never picked up on 2nd part of your post.. NO the interior lights dont illuminate mate.
  2. Yeah Sunny bay loom got changed also all my looms are from a TT now because I wanted stock elec fans. Im sure the bay loom is fine as my headlights worked prior to changing the dash and bulkhead looms
  3. Cheers David but If I put the old loom back in I wont have wipers indicators and my ABS light will be on again.
  4. Maybe if my supra gets struck my headlights will work briefly. Anyone got any genuine ideas
  5. Hah no mate. Its the real proper stuff to. Thunder is booming big time.
  6. I tried them all when on my NA and the best results came from the stock paper type filter.
  7. At first I had no wipers, indicators, and ABS light stayed on after my conversion. So I changed both of the dash looms and all the above is now working but I have no headlights now. High beem works when I pull back on the stalk but thats it. My headlights sidelights and tailights are now in op. Any advice? Whilst I sit in the car waiting for the thunder lightening and rain to stop.
  8. flashing OD light "usually" means a fault with the auto box. check the connectors on both speed sensors number 1 and 2.
  9. Anyone any ideas? Ive checked fuses etc.
  10. God knows mate. The car was a stock unmolested NA when I bought it 7 years ago still had the jap stereo, stock 16s and 44k on the clock. The only upgrade seems to be alpine speakers and tweeters all round unless these are stock? But this loom make zero sense I only seems to fit into itself which would do nothing.
  11. Has another quick investigation today this loom seems to run from central locking mechanism (rectangular device under drivers seat)
  12. Sorry its the one with blue sheathing on it.
  13. Ive found a loose wire between rear speaker and passenger seat belt. Does anyone have any idea what its for or even wher it goes?
  14. Ive just changed both dash looms mate. NA for TT ones so as to get other issues resolved which worked. These connectors do fit 2 large blue connectors in drivers footwell but didnt make any difference to anything. I have no headlights though.
  15. No idea mate the other end dissapears under the carpet towards rear centre of driver seat or beyond. No idea if its for aftermarket part mate.
  16. Hi all, My NA-TT must be the longest in history of supras, I had a few issues (a few months ago) after my conversion a i.e. my (1) ABS light was on, (2) No indicators, (3) No Manu function. I've just resolved these issues by changing both the dash looms from a TT (MAJOR PITA JOB). I also changed the engine BAY loom when I done the NA-TT so now all my looms are from a TT and everything works (even the traction control) well everything except my headlights and tail lights. I'm confused now I just seem to destined not to get on the road again. Any advice on what could cause the head/tail lights to fail? I even tried a set of light /indicator stalks off a TT with no joy. Weirdly HIGH beam works when the stalk is pulled back only. Cheers.
  17. No one recognise this strange part of loom? Comes up from under the carpet at drivers feet.
  18. Hi all im feeling guilty asking for help seeing as I aint been on in a while but here goes. My car has been off the road for months while i've been working on it. I cant remember disconecting this loom or even where it plugs into. only place I can find is back into itself which cant be right. It comes up from the carpet at the drivers footwell. Any help please?
  19. Did that place in essex that Baldy mentioned not do it?
  20. This is exactly why I started the thread... people always saying "my ocd would never allow that" or similar. OCD sufferers have a terrible time.
  21. At least your diagnosed mate as I said in my op I knew a guy who had it and he was miserable. Many on here just like to throw the title about as if its a good thing. Good luck with your treatment.
  22. This is for you cssupra
  23. Yours? did you move the tile BACK? took me a minute to see it. Id like to think it was done deliberately.
  24. This might upset a few members but I need to ask..? Firstly LOADS of people keep banging on about their OCD cars i.e. perfect paintwork, polished engine parts blah blah... I wonder how many people have actually met some one who SUFFERS from OCD? I have, the guys life was a misery took him about 3 hours just to leave the house in the morning after turning off and on and off again every switch in the house that's after he polished his taps of water marks and about 50 other things just to get out. Anyway back to cars who here just drives it and washes it now and again?, this IS my idea of motoring. I've had cars before where I polished them and over scrutinised everything and to be honest I never enjoyed them as much as I should have, I was just keeping it immaculate for the next owner. A bit like those people who buy a new 3 piece suite and get it home and keep the plastic wrapper on it then throw blankets on it to. Read the link below or at least read the last paragraph if you cant be arsed with all of it. Who else is like me?
