  1. Quoted from a single google search. I have read and researched quite a bit about the effects of Pasteurisation and 99% of reports say the same thing! "Pure milk is rich in calcium and other important and useful minerals. People living in the countryside are healthier and live longer lives than people living in the cities because the former group consumes milk in its pure form. Nature has included all important nutrients in milk for its proper digestion. Even skim milk made by mixing water with milk is more beneficial than the milk we drink from cartons. The reason why people like us who drink milk on a regular basis and are still calcium deficient is the process of pasteurization. Pasteurized milk is not only low in calcium but is also difficult to digest. Therefore, calcium in milk is not absorbed by the bloodstream. Furthermore, sugar and salt increases the rate of calcium loss through urine". Full article: http://ezinearticles.com/?Calcium-In-Milk---The-Advantages-And-Disadvantages-Of-Consuming-Calcium-In-Milk&id=657324 And another: http://www.karlloren.com/diet/milk/p8.htm and they keepgoing......
  2. Your body can struggle to digest porridge and although the oats release energy evenly and slowly throughout the day, If it is protein you want, then it's eggs you need;) You should split your meals into 5 or 6 meals evenly throughout the day with each meal roughly the size of your fist
  3. An excellent tip for conditioning your shins is to get a round (cyclindrical) 1.5-2 litre bottle and fill it with water to about 2 inches before the top and freeze it. Then when frozen, use the bottle to hit and roll against your shins for about 20 mins a day.
  4. Two boiled or poached each every morning for breakfast with wholemeal toast and olivio spread;) Keep your proteins seperate per sitting (i.e don't eat egg with chicken etc). I always stayed away from cheese as a dietary supplement cause of the negative elements outweighing the positive. As for milk, stay away from it, and if you do use it make sure its green or red top. There is almost no calcium benefit in pastuerised homogenised milk as it is boiled to kill the bacteria, and at the same time kills the enzimes that have the benefits. Unless you can find certified 'raw' milk then it's not worth it. There is more calcium in a portion of cabbage than a litre of milk. Buy a book called 'The Tao of Health, Sex and Longevity' by Daniel Reid;)
  5. You should always fight at your near minimum weight. I used to kick box and also trained in ishin ryu ju-jitsu for years and when I first started competing in tournaments I wanted to get bigger/heavier so that I could fight in higher divisions, but my body didn't feel right, and I was slower and not as effective! That's why most fighters drop weight before a fight. As far as protein is concerned, unless you want to be a body builder like Geo and Dude, then knock yourself out with 2-2.5g/kg, but for conditioning I always went for 0.75-1g/kg of high quality protein but my man source was good food and kept my intake to ~25g per meal/serving.
  6. Check the pipes around the intercooler pipes and make sure they are all attached and there are no holes or cracks in any.
  7. If you're going to google your name be sure to put it in speech marks, eg. "John smith". otherwise you will get 7,000,000 hits like some have. Not famous by the way:(
  8. Neil-NA should be along soon to give some advice - He runs a bike shop I believe and is a bicycle mechanic
  9. What I don't want is to buy it and be stuck with the engine and not be able to use it because I don't have a loom. Again, if anyone knows if I can use the gear box then I would be grateful if you could let me know.
  10. Hi Adnan, I was aware of the sump issue but the loom was my biggest query along with if I could use the gearbox. I like the thought of the tiptronic over a standard auto box
  11. I have been offered the above for £1350 with all ancillaries and Turbos and was wondering if I could use the gearbox as its the tiptronic box. Also, would I need to get a Supra TT loom? Engine has 75k on the clock so wanted some opinions. I didn't think that the Lexus came with a TT engine so could this have been an Aristo re-badged or engine swap? Cheers, Ilias
  12. Definitely a Mastiff breed. Thought it was a BoerBoel for a second but mouth is a bit too saggy?
  13. Have you two not noticed that this thread is 18 months old?
  14. I can sympathise with him on this one as in different countries fuels are known with different names. In Greece and Cyprus for example, Diesel is called Petrelao which could cause confusion as its sounds like petrol. Petrol on the other hand is called Benzina, so I'll give him that one. The fuel cap one though is just silly.
  15. You cannot buy a dog as a pup with the idea of going on to train it as a guard dog mate. I grew up around a guy that used to train dogs for the RAF and also gun dogs. The RAF dogs were kennelled from pups to avoid them getting used to human contact as that defeated the object! Once they were 6-9 months old they would start basic training and by 1 year they were assigned handlers
  16. Sorry, wrote text there but seems to have been deleted. I was just giving you their confirmed heights. I had originally written, "I agree there looks to be a height difference but as per BoxRec they are in fact 6.3" and 6.4 1/2"" Is that a good enough answer for you Matt?

  18. Considering that that gearbox is worth almost that on its own then that is an absolute bloody bargain and worth at least £4.5k broken!
  19. Who watched DayBreak this morning? They were on there and were kept in opposite sides of the studio and bad-mouthing each other again. A third interviewer asked Haye why he has accepted this fight, as it is not what people expected. Haye answered that the Klitchkos were delaying him by only fighting the US big purse 'phoney' fighters! Not sure if I buy that!!!
  20. Are you sleeping with anyone's wife??? You are a lucky man!!!

    Tube Strike

Hmm? I used it earlier but it didnt stop at Warren Street Edit: I was right - Quoted from TFL "Suspended between Victoria and Brixton and between Seven Sisters and Walthamstow Central due to strike action. Minor delays are occurring on the rest of the line" Does not affect Green Park to Finsbury Park

    Tube Strike

The Victoria Line is running so you are better off getting that from Green Park to Kings X
