I use the RPS triple as well - can't fault it at all. It feels great for pottering around as well as holding up great when seeing abuse. Quite a graduated feel as well - not too on/off.

A friend of mine uses a Link G+ with his 34 GTR and everything has been pretty good for him thus far. I have no direct experience with either on Supras though. I'd definitely be discussing it with Romain if he will be mapping for you. Definitely worth searching on here as well for any cars on the same management with the same/similar specs so there is something to work from.

A 6266 GEN2 DBB will do 700 on V Power so long as you have other sufficient supporting mods (cams etc.). Very fast spooling. If you factor in 50% ethanol to a 700bhp pump setup you would yield ~780bhp depending on the mapping. Reference for this is a previous build by SRD (JamieP's old white Supra 'Goose'). Worth searching old threads to locate that one to cross-check the rest of the build spec.

Hi Adam and welcome along. Wifey has got it sussed with 6 cylinders and big boost by the sound of things.

Welcome along. You'll find a lot of good information on here regarding both NA-T and NA-TT conversions depending on which route you decide to go down. Feel free to share pics of your Supra as it stands - we like to see them

The car in question isn’t a Supra going by the first post. However, this is definitely applicable and sensible for anyone else in this position (with their Supra!).

Looks nice, I like the colour. Which model of BMW box is fitted? Which diff is it paired to? Stuff like that might help the - potential - sale along too. If you can edit and update the first post into the template format please just to keep things consistent. Thanks

I was just meaning the ridiculous premium on part prices for them, never mind the purchase cost for the car itself!
-
Could be worse - could be a 34 GTR

Sold the Top Secret skirts and bought Ridox instead, but all of the other bits are/were on my current VVTi. Going to buy another set of CCW Classics and replace the LM5T. Interesting to see that my tastes have barely changed. This old piece of tin? Not worth the trouble really is it mate.

How do I find the answer to a question I have? (Using the forum search)

Bump for info. -
Just to boost this thread - I'd like to think that with the changes being imparted on the forum at the moment, coinciding with a re-jig in permissions and accessibility, that we have mitigated against this happening again. Apologies for any issues experienced to date, and I hope that the parts you were after are still available.

It is a tough cookie for me at the moment as I am very much stuck in 2013ish I am partially thinking from the perspective of volume of interested parties - would a (engine converted, obviously) TT5 for £15k have more/less potential buyers than a converted TT6 (engine and box) at £21k say. From the angle of future-proofing for others, this particular example may be more lucrative as the 5 speed is of course far more likely to 'let go', causing additional outlay regardless. Food for thought certainly.

I have a pre-facelift SZ-R NA-TT 5 speed that I need to do some work to. It'll never yield the same value as a factory TT counterpart of equivalent spec in my opinion. My main evaluation is actually going to be whether the outlay for a 6 speed conversion will yield sufficient return down the line or not.

James' 1997 RZ VVTi T88-34D Single Turbo - Respray and new CCWs [pg 32]
James replied to James's topic in Supra Chat
Not a massive amount has changed over the last few years, so not a great deal to update on this thread! I went to a couple of shows/events: Had a lot of fun at the above one and managed to twist my propshaft and break some teeth on my A03B diff. Replaced the prop with the SRD Heavy Duty and fitted an A02B instead. Replaced the interior with OEM seats retrimmed in Chili Red leather: Had a 4" downpipe fabricated so now running 4" turbo back: Had a shoot done for Banzai but it will be going into a different magazine instead now (proper pictures will be provided later, this is just one I took during!): I also test fitted my new Workmeister S1 3pc wheels. Just need to decide on a finish for them and buy some new lips to take them in by 1/2" as they poke out too much for my preference. I think that is about it for now. -
Yep, they are a lovely wheel. I'm putting them onto my other Supra instead. Just need to decide on how I'm going to finish them and then buy new lips (going to narrow them down a bit so I can run a bigger tyre as mentioned in original post). I just wound the coilovers up a good few turns; more to my preference now! It did have, but that has since been changed! Hi Keith, long time indeed - we need to arrange a meet at some point! Marc is in a Toyota bB now! Marc is now in a Toyota bB! It has some very nice bits on it and looks great! --- I haven't done anything with this particular Supra at all yet other than take some of my favourite bits off/out of it (interior & wheels!). I have, however, bought some Japan Racing JR10s (CCW Classic reps) that it will sit on for a while (it is on black stock 17s just now). I need to decide what to do with the exterior; thinking to remove the skirts and revert back to OEM pods/sills and put an OEM spoiler back on. Probably some facelift indicators/sidelights as well. If doing the above, I'll likely take the diffuser off as well. Lastly, I have some Recaro SR5 (black with red stitch) to go in. They were in my other Supra, but with the red leather swapped into that I'll just put them into this one.

Previous owner of my first Supra was on here; this forum is how I purchased it. I made sure to go through a number of previous threads/posts regarding it to see that it was all in order before the long journey to view it (I also get regular updates from the buyer of it from 2013 - it is great to see it being brought back to life ) I was the first UK owner of my VVTi single, so don't have anything previous to that one. My other Supra used to belong to my best friend, so I've been well aware of everything going with it since around 2008

Thank you, appreciated.

Tasty spec. Very nice. You are in good hands too. I will always have a soft spot for a white Supra too. Out of interest, how do you find the Nitrons? I have been eyeing some for a little while now.

As requested, please reinstate your advertised price. It is in fact part of the sales thread template. (I could just reinstate it myself, but I'm being nice )
