  1. I know all the rules behind it (spacing, font size, everything) and my plate met all criteria. This doesn't stop me from getting hassle though. I used to have a regular 13x6.5 import plate before having to change to this UK 11x8. It's not the size of the plate I'm even bothered about, because I can get a 13x8 UK one and shave it to prevent scratching. I guess it's the principle of the UK plate NOT FITTING CORRECTLY when at 8" which is their legal smallest height (when square) and the import plate being permitted as my car is an import, it fits correctly and I still get the trouble.
  2. Quote of the day goes to this man.
  3. I need some for my guitars too actually, being the forum guitar hero and all...
  4. I need to buy the Ridox bits and that Seibon bonnet from you first Paul but I'm keen on one of the diffusers once I have the rest of the bits in place.
  5. Wondering if there is anywhere I can get a couple of these little 'hook' type bits to secure my rear reg plate on my stock rear bumper? These are the things I mean:- http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-snc1/v2562/8/16/339200139/n339200139_78001_7486641.jpg http://jdmwallpapers.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/honda-s2000-25.jpg I've been getting hassle over my rear plate for it being import size (my car is a '93 JDM) as the police have said a UK plate will fit which it only does when scratching the recess and not fully covering the bumper hole. This is what it looks like with the UK plate:- http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs023.ash2/34497_505470005293_339200132_178842_4897872_n.jpg The plate is bent and squeezed in to fit and so it's resting on the recess, scratching it. I figured that by adding these at the appropriate places that this will limit the size of where I can put the plate to accommodate import size only. Any ideas welcomed! (I'm not putting on the plate surrounds so that isn't an option.)
  6. My second Supra is more tasteful than that blue one. I got it from Argos for £15 and it's made of plastic and is half green and half black. I'd rather spend 10 minutes on a car that looks good than take hours working on something that looks like it fell out of a tree backwards.
  7. I'll give it a miss. Thanks though
  8. Stock? If so then I'll PM you and maybe we can sort something

    Drunk!

Leaving the pub at 3 and hitting the whiskey at 4/5 is not the best of ideas.

    Drunk!

The shame was in the fact that I didn't remember where my mates house was as they recently moved from my street to somewhere else (still close enough) and so I came out the door thinking I should have been 2 seconds from mine, but I was elsewhere and had no clue what was going on haha!

    Drunk!

I walked home after a night out last night at 8. Not cool.
  12. It's alright. I'd rather have your black one. That looks crap (opinion). Obviously under the bonnet is sublime but I'd want something I could use that didn't look mediocre.

    Sad news - AlanM

That's such a shame Really sorry to hear this bad news. Thinking of you and your family at this time Kris. James
  14. "You're lucky there is such a high content of drugs in this cake otherwise I would end you and all that you love for putting this f***ing hat on me."
  15. Looks like a fantastic day! My girlfriend would love that!
  16. I think the only things I don't like are the rear lights. Otherwise it looks good! That's just personal preference though! I think as well that if it was my build and I was doing everything totally brand new, I'd either have went completely OEM, OEM+ (OEM skirts and spats, active lip etc., UK scoop etc.) or full TRD 3000GT. That would seem unreal to me as it'd be a Supra as intended but brand new! Though, this is why it's great that there are variations in opinions and desires and it's what keeps it interesting. Hope you get it finished soon
  17. Something that isn't as much an actual collection but could be deemed as such is guitar plectrums. I have/had millions of them, in all different textures, shapes, thicknesses and colours. I was going to "collect" guitars as my collection has included some ultra rare models of massive value but it was too expensive to keep them all. I've sold some that I kinda regret. Still have the 2 rarest though. Maybe one day I'll build it back up
  18. I'll get a barnetscarf picture sorted at some point. Jim - your car looks awesome!
  19. Nice colour. Looking forward to seeing what the final numbers are
  20. So does the mop top, I use it as a scarf. Ideal.
