Slight update with the build, haven’t been able to do much last few weeks due to chest infection and mum going for operation, but back on track now and mates coming over on 3rd to check my timing for me. I have also ordered Spec stage 3 clutch from Whifbitz, and have cleaned garage ready to rebuild engine crane. So once the timing checked will be finally able to fit lightweight flywheel and clutch and get engine back in my painted engine bay. So can’t wait to have engine finally fitted. I have also ordered a Racetune billet power steering bracket from Australia so once engine all in can rebuild inlet side of engine and get braided lines made for power steering and oil cooler.

Couple ideas I think may help club and members is 1. Remove the lifetime membership so everyone pays £10 a year that should help build club finances up. 2. Also have local mods to organise few local meets throughout the year so local members can meet up an chat plus puts face to names, and then in turn that may also make the bigger events even bigger as more members feel welcome and people know each other better.

I know the feeling well believe me, intrested to see how she looks when all built up.

Thank you and going for Whifbitz NA-T kit to start with then once run in going for Link G4+ ecu, Garth at MGT has done me good deal on ecu as use then quite a lot plus he built my Nos system. I know in future will need better manifold and turbo to reach 1000bhp goal, but while running Whifbitz kit will also be going to coil ignition and fitting FFIM with direct port Nos, plus will be looking at gearbox options aswell.

Thank you very much and oh yes will defiantly be filming her 1st start up and drive. So far the build owes my about 10k and I reckon be another 5k for turbo and standalone ecu.

I have to say I agree with this completely, I have a build thread that I do update at each step but get fed up with lack of interest on forum. I only have to post few pictures up on Facebook and get lots of comments and questions and good or bad it’s nice chating about different opinions and ideas with other like mind people. And I also agree with the comment about there does seem to be a cult following on this forum for certain members. They get treated like royalty and some haven’t even got a supra anymore. That’s another point on this forum which really annoys me, it’s a supra forum not a skyline,GTR or bmw forum. I built a race prep RST years ago and she was the fastest 1.6 cvh builds on forum but after breaking the car, I don’t post up about my supra because it’s an RS owners group and I not an RST owner anymore.
