  2. There seems to be quite a few of us all local’ish maybe be idea to organise meets now weather getting better. My supra off road as doing build but happy to come along in Mondeo and hide her out way.
  3. Thank you so much, I will be getting tensioner billet pulley as think will finish off front of engine for sure. Just want to get her started and check for leaks and can do all the finishing touches. Hopefully if all goes to plan I should be going coil and FFIM next year main focus this year is run her in and get her mapped so can enjoy car while save for other bits. I have to agree the PHR turbo kit does look and sound amazing have been tempted few times to purchase that instead of Whifbitz one but it’s the import cost that puts me off, plus I know the Whifbitz one will just bolt one which is bonus.
  4. Well it’s been great weekend on Sophie and massive thanks to David west for letting me borrow his downpipe to test everything before fit turbo. Only got few silly little jobs to finish too finish and can fill her of fluids and finally fire her up.
  5. Well some more goodies for Sophie, hopefully will get these fitted next week and can set up dizzy and she’s more or less ready to start up. Am planning on starting her up using N/A exhaust manifold to check for any leaks and issues before order the turbo. Just want to make sure everything is fine with no problems before fit turbo.
  6. Little bit of update, this week have fitted new copper plugs and new leads, plus got rest of inlet manifold and throttle body on, and fitted new rear number plate. Not much of update but she getting there. I have ordered ATI crank damper and new plastic timing cover. This weekend planning on replacing damaged water sensor connector and then fit power steering system back on and get racing lines thermostatic sandwich plate and oil filter fitted then can size up hoses needed for oil cooler.
  7. Thank you for that, will def be using very good oil once engine run in
  8. That’s what I was thinking biggest is best. No not building her for track, she going to be fast road car that will go up drag strip and do few track days, my mates skylines oil always gets to hot after few good laps and he has to come in and let her cool, I don’t want that hassle with mine
  9. Hi guys after some advice on oil cooler size please. I doing a forged na-t build with end goal of around 1000bhp and will be using supra on drag strip and few track days aswell. I currently got a racing lines thermostatic sandwich plate. I have done search but can’t really find out what size I will need. Any help will be greatly appreciated
  10. I had my aftermarket cams set while the head was off, I was told this is best way to shim aftermarket cams. Hope that helps
